nash is the best pg in the league because he makes everyone else around him perform better... he's a phenomenal shooter, perhaps the best in the league, he's a leader, he has heart and dedication. cp3, d-will, i like them, but they don't do the same for their teams. nash takes the load.

anyone overrated?
jameer nelson (forget this yr, orlando made the finals w/o him LAST YR)

underrated?
andre miller (every yr)

rajon rondo (jason kidd)

Should've kept Rondo as a backup for Nash for 2 or 3 years. Championship.

I still don't get the logic in trading that pick to pay Marcus Banks 4M to backup Nash while they could have had a cheap rookie to do it. It's not like he was putting up all-star numbers, it was only like 12-4 over 30 mins which was pretty medicore.

I think D'Antoni was acting GM when some of the picks were sold and Banks was signed. It was that weird time between BC and Kerr. Of course Sarver was prob calling the shots, as usual.

D'Antoni didn't wanna play or develop rookies. Banks was seen as a sure-fire back up option at that point (to them anyway) and since he's already been in the league a few years they thought he could just come in and do the job.

1. Paul - best overall

2. Nash - best creator and shooter, weak defense

3. Deron Williams - strong, good scorer, good creator, can knock down long shot and drive to the hoop, pretty clutch, able to win as a leader

4. Billups - leadership, shooting, good as compliment, not a first fiddle player

5. Baron Davis - can lock down on D when motivated and run the team

6. Derrick Rose - most explosive and athletic

7. Russell Westbrook - best PG defender, strong and explosive, will get better

8. Parker

9. Rondo - overrated as hell on defensive end, his unability to shot the ball would probably kill any offense without threats like Celtics have.

10. Kidd - old but still good at distributing the ball, playing D, and rebounding.

I excluded Ellis and Evans, cause they are more of a SGs.

Steve Nash-Best shooter(All time top 5) and best passer in the league. Amazing at making others around him seem better than they really are.

Chris Paul- Great defender, can get to the line or find the open pass. He seems stagnant at times when he doesn't have the ball.

Deron Williams- Great floor leader. Has really clicked running Sloan's offense.

Tony Parker...

Chauncey Billups- Can really score the ball and get to the line. Doesn't look to pass enough.

Rajon Rondo- Best defense at the 1 in the league. Good passer but can't shoot a lick.

Jason Kidd- Hasn't aged as well as Nash. Looks far older than I thought he would. Still a good defender who can make the pass.

Derrick Rose- Amazing scorer. Can get to the line anytime he wants. Bad shooter and low bball IQ.

Russell Westbrook- Like this kid alot. He does everything that's needed at the time to win.

Aaron Brooks- Could be ranked higher if he wasn't so short. Very fast can finish at the rim and knock down the jumper.
