If you can hack it...good on ya. you need 100 votes to change 1 percent (2 percent if everyone votes for Wade an no one for Lebron or Bosh I guess..)...And bosh is at 69, wade at..16? I love our flaming of boards/emails/votes etc., but...do you really have 5 thousand people reading this message and clicking to vote? LOL! Worth a try tho - I voted Wade haha.

What makes you think Bosh is willing to be anyone's second banana? All indications are that he's embraced being a team leader and enjoys being an alpha dog. For him to sign with another team just because Wade or LeBron is there would be admitting that he can't lead a team to a championship on his own, and it seems like his self-confidence has grown to a point where he thinks he could do that. So I don't buy that he's going to go somewhere just to play with Wade or LeBron. It doesn't fit his current persona.

I certainly don't.

I have yet to see somebody provide a credible theory why Bosh would be the most likely of the three to switch teams. The prevailing assumption among many speculators seems to be that Bosh doesn't want to play in Canada, and there is absolutely nothing to back that claim up.

Bosh wants to play with one of them? Seems like the best, most plausible theory to me. We can say that he likes it here all we want, but the media glaze alone from that pairing would vault him into the Hall of Fame.

They're all going to want max money - and no one is taking a pay cut. The only superstar to take a paycut was Garnett re-signing because he wanted to use that money to bring in another superstar- how did that work out? If it worked, yeah maybe Bosh and Lebron take a paycut...but that failed miserably.

So assuming they don't take a paycut, you have 40 million+ out of 50-53 million in 2 players that have to be signed BEFORE any other additions (excluding current existing contracts which would probably be at least another 5 million). Sure they'd be a great pair, but you'd still need to find a couple cheap diamond in the rough type players to fill out your roster and those players aren't exactly a dime a dozen. Even if I grant you Bosh and Lebron(or Wade) is equal to MJ and Pippen which it isn't, where you gonna find money to get Rodman and Kerr and a host of other role players once you gut your team a-la Miami or NY? Teams like Atlanta would run you over by just iso-ing whoever has a minimum player on them...and defensively, it's not as if Lebron and Bosh are UNSTOPPABLE, you can let em score 40 a game each and they'll still lose because they have Chris Quinn and Roko Ukic as their PG rotation...Now if you have THREE stars joining each other, maybe we can talk dynasty like say JJ, Lebron and Bosh.

All this talk about two superstars joining each other is (Please Use More Appropriate Word) (I hate this word's usage but it's true here). The only POSSIBLE way that this situation occurs is if you can get them to both commit and also get some pre-retirement/overthehill former stars to also commit at the same time (and even this isn't a guarantee, look at Sheed and Boston, RJ and Spurs etc..)

I do. I think Wade is much more likely to jump to Chicago or NY than Bosh is to leave the good situation he has going here.

Bosh/James are gonna stay most likely, but Wade is that wildcard.

Hey, I know! Let's write an article suggesting that everybody & their neighbors dog thinks that "player A" is the most likely to leave their organization.

Then we'll put a poll in the article asking everybody & their neighbors dog which player is most likely to leave!

Telling Sportsnet their website visitors like the Raptors means they may be compelled to give them more coverage. Telling Yahoo more of their visitors think Wade is more likely to be traded then Bosh, will not affect what happens to Wade or Bosh or Lebron. One is asking viewers what they perfer as market research, and the other is asking what visitors think for no other reason than seeing what visitors think. I mean people go to Yahoo sports to see who they are saying may be traded, or read rumours, not the other way around. That's why I think even if we hacked it so that less than 1% thought Bosh would leave Toronto, what difference would that make regarding whether or not Bosh leaves Toronto.

But like someone said if it's just for fun, have at'er but the results wouldn't make me feel threatened or relieved no matter what they said.

I have no doubt Lebron is leaving. He wants to be the biggest athlete in the world, and it's NOT HAPPENING while he plays in Cleveland. If he wants to compete with Kobe, he needs to play for NY or even the Clips.

Return to Toronto Raptors
