Right, but so does Hinrich, so the chances would be that Allen rides the pine behind Hinrich anyway.
Cliff Levingston keeps reading how Hinrich has value around the league. He's a bit overpaid and his stats are crap, so teams must love the intangibles he brings. He is a very selfless guy, plays tough defense and gives 100% effort all the time. Not sure that's worth what he's paid, but Cliff Levingston hopes it is to someone else.
According to a report in Chicago, the Bulls are ready to go all-in this summer so they could end up taking a slew of small expiring deals for Hinrich. Cliff Levingston would like the rumored Ray Allen deal but just can't see the C's giving him up considering how important he is to a championship run.
