Perkins is a solid player, but he isn't what I would call a beast defensively. Ben Wallace was a beast. Perkins is exactly the type of player we need but he's not so far above others that he's the only, or even the best, option out there.

It's a pretty crappy trade to begin with, and then he adds that we swap 1st rounders with them. That would be a hell of a trade for Boston. They get rid of a aging Ray Allen, get KMart and Noce, who can both help them out and to top it off they'd get a top 5-7 pick next year. LMAO.

Are you kidding? I'd take Perkins in a heartbeat. The kid can't score to save his life, but his defensive is great inside. Fantastic fit here.

I can easily get how a PG like Rando would be a product of playing with stars, but I don't know how an individuals defense can get overhyped by playing with stars. XD

Also. That proposed Celtics trade is disgusting! XD And I thought SAR's contract was already off the books.

Well KG can make any mediocre center look good ala PERKINS KG is one of the best POWER forwards in the game today though injured a bit . You can argus your point about PERKINSS to doomsday but in my book he is grossly over rated & my book is all that counts .
There are alot of views i agree with on this board & alot i disagree with & this is one opinion by a few of you i think some of you do nothing more than jump on te bandwagon of what anothers opinions are or for that matter tend to go with the flow of others .

PERKINS is only slightly better than average ! WOW some of you really know how to overhype a player !
Their are at least 3 younger centers in the leauge right now possibly availably by trade than PERKINS is as a whole all around player .
Alot of you seem like you would give up the farm to get him & some of you seem to overhype him like he is a young SHAQ OLAJAWON if so keep dreaming

By this logic, we must close down this whole thread and much of our discussion, because 99% of the players we discuss will never be in a Kings uniform.

I agree he will most likely not play here, but thats because he has alot of value to Boston. Face it, KG has been hurt ALOT and has not had the impact he had during their championship run. Perkins is one of the reasons they have continued to be a very good team. Granted he is not a healthy KG by any stretch, but he does alot of the same things KG does. Brings interior toughness and defense. Thats what the kings need.

Well i guess so LIGHTNING STRIKE because you WOLFAY & a couple of others are talking about PERKINS alot & though you have a right to talk about players he does not pertain to this discussion at all ! I have simply tried to end this before as i will no no matter what you or others say in response but you guys are clearly talking about a player who has not been rumored to be a KING etc. this topic is not in reguards to centers we like , hope for , who is good , who is not etc. its a whole other topic in itself !
So feel free to make yet another comment as i am sure you will but it wont get a response & then all you are showing is that your looking to cause problems as i have now tried to end this twice !

I'm not trying to get a rise out of you XD I'm just saying that I personally think Perkins' is a very solid defender and, if he were to come here, I'd be very happy about it.

I'm not saying he's going to end up, nor that there are any rumors that he will end up. Don't mistake anything we say with that. But you're underrating his defensive abilities and taking what is just rational player discussion for a personal vendetta.
