I disagree that it's a "blah" class. There are no obvious playmaking studs ala Clay or Appleton; but if my breakdown is correct there will be more starter level players and impact recruits than any class since 2005, which of course was an outstanding one. And FWIW, I've been following these signees most of this cycle for Recruiting Planet, have watched at least a reel on all of them, and have a pretty good track record at evaluating.
As far as acquiring some impact players in the secondary next term, I like our chances. There are a couple interesting corners who made an appearance on the RP Badgers' board already, including James Farrow from Minnetonka (same school as Beau Allen), who has great measurables and looks very impressive on film. UW is listed as his favorite school. I'm definitely not steering these kids toward Bucky, but am providing a bridge to the program (if they don't already have one) and they know what's up about UW's dire cb situation.
