"Ridiculous" & "Irresponsible" is what Clipper management have "allegedly" called the
Isiah Thomas Rumours.

Amazing that one would use the two words (Irresponsible & Ridiculous) when speaking of Isiah Thomas.
So, hopefully there is no truth to Isiah joining the Clips. Now Clipper Fans need to get vocal and lobby for the right candidate. Who is the front runner, who are the legitimate candidates and there is always a Dark Horse.

My 1st Choice Byron Scott / 2nd -- John Lucas / 3rd -- Sam Mitchell
Dark Horse Sammy Cassell

Fantasy Pick-- not gonna happen - Jeff Van Gundy

Am I missing anyone?? No, Not Mark Ivoroni

I agree with your choices and definitely think Sam Cassell should be an assistant coach in the team no matter who takes over.

As for Gundy, I doubt he will go back to coaching. He is just having to much fun on tv

I say the Clippers should get Craig Robinson head Coach of Oregon State.
Young, smart & innovative coach PLUS maybe his brother in law (some Dude named Obama) may show up for a game or two.

I think it depends on whether or not the Clippers want to commit to Baron. If so Byron Scott is a terrible choice, im pretty sure they both hate each other.

Best coach would be someone willing to give some freedom to his players. Not sure of anyone however. Maybe Lawrence Frank? He seemed to be a good manager of people.

I don't think JVG or Sam Cassell are available. And Sam Mitchell sounds like a terrible candidate that would probably prolong the streak of losing seasons. I like Byron Scott, but like ^ mentioned, him and Baron clashed before. I don't know much about John Lucas.

I'd nominate Avery Johnson. Despite the "beef" he got when was fired, he was still a good coach and had a winning record. Either him or some new young coach is what I'm thinking right now.
