Look it's all in the name of good fun. And if anyone seriously has a problem with me poking a little fun at the Blazers they can piss off.

Look growing up outside of Seattle, I grew up not liking Portland. Portland was part of the I-5 rivalry. The only time I cheer for Portland is when they play the Lakers.

I didn't like Portland even when Kemp was there.

And I'm not going to become a Blazer fan just because my team moved away. The Blazers are not the Sonics. The Thunder are not the Sonics, but at least at one point they were the Sonics.

Let me put it like this. Say my girl friend had to move out of town for a new job. Just because she is gone doesn't mean I am going to date the only single girl in town, especially if the single girl looks like this.

To me that's ^^^^ what the Blazers look like. Sorry but until I find something better I'll just keep having an online relationship with my old GF.

Part of the ribbing I have been giving Portland fan is for all the times last year they called Durant an empty suit, or that his stats don't matter because the team is not winning.

Part of it is because Durant and Oden will always be linked together.

Part of it is because Portland was supposed to be in the Western Conf finals this year and the Thunder were supposed to be in 9th-12th best team in the West.

Part of it is because that is what these forums are for. Talk sports, talk stats and to poke a little fun if they are so sensitive about my threads maybe they should lighten up.

I wasn't doing any name calling or insulting anyone personally, it was just some friendly ribbing to have Tuesdays game bring a little more weight to it.

And of course me bumping the thread was ridiculous, but I think most people get it, but if others take it a little too personal like I just insulted their first born well..............that's their problem, maybe they should take a step back and re-evaluate things a bit.

There's never any pulling Wiffler into line. Probably the main reason why I've enjoyed my banter with him over the years.

So, if Portland is in the rear view mirror, that would put Seattle far beyond the rear view horizon. Great taunt. :-?

Anyway, on to the thread title...

Wiffler has already officially lost it. As in our bet.
Larry Hughes couldn't even make it to the end of his contract. I believe that was the fate Wiffler predicted for Ray Allen. Who could've guessed Allen would've ended up being Boston's Iron Man?
(well, other than myself of course)

So Wiffler, are you going to fly us down to Okieville for a game? I'll still hold up my end of the bet and buy your dinner. Does Fraud Center serve hog jowls and grits?

Dude as soon as Seattle gets another team I'm buying us tickets.

Or we could go to next years game down in Portland, you pick. But I'm a man of my word. I don't know how Ray Allen managed to stay healthy but I guess when you become the designated three point bomber your ankles feel a little better.

I'd even pick you up from your house and make the drive. Just say the word.
