SAC-GSW-MIN

Post#1 » by shrink » Sat Feb 6, 2010 2:38 am

I'm not a fan of this deal, but it might be interesting to discuss.

SAC GETS: Al Jefferson

GSW GETS: Kevin Martin + Jason Thompson
GSW GIVES: Stephen Curry + Andris Biedrins

MIN GETS: Stephen Curry + Andris Biedrins
MIN GIVES: Al Jefferson

S. Curry 2,710,560 2,913,840 3,117,120 3,958,742 5,308,674
Biedrins 9,000,000 9,000,000 9,000,000 9,000,000 9,000,000

Jefferson 12,000,000 13,000,000 14,000,000 15,000,000

I'd rather have the Sac package. I'm not sure what we would do with Curry, Flynn, Rubio, Sessions, and a good shot at John Wall.

No thanks, i don't want Andris Biedrins near this team and we would seriously be overloaded at PG

The Kings would definitely decline, but I think the value's almost there for us. I'd be tempted, although Biedrins contract is nasty.

Would GSW do that?

I don't like it. Biedrins has been a shadow of his former self.

This was a 2-team trade on the Trade Board that didn't cause the general groans and complaints that many GSW and SAC trades create. I inserted the Wolves, because of all the discussion of an Al for "Kevin Martin +" talk we've seen. Biedrins has been injured this season I believe. Perhaps we'd send Flynn to GSW for other young talent (Randolph?). Anyway, probably not worth the time - I'm not a fan personally.

Biedrins can't get a bucket even though he's tall enough to hit his head on the rim. No problem with Steph Curry. No room for him either. Can you imagine the heat Kahn would face if he traded our best player for yet another point guard?

I'd pass on all the Al for Kevin Martin deals too. Kevin Martin could have us contending for a title right away. Too bad the title would be worst defense in the league.

I wouldn't hate a K-Mart/JT trade for Jefferson. But it had better come along with replacing Al with a good post C.

Doesn't seem too attractive for us.

Biedrins has been god awful and has a terrible contract. He's shooting like less than 20% from the line...

Because he's been injured and unable to play or work out until recently? GSW needs his D + rebounds...finds this interesting, but won't want to pay big for a redundant SG.

Why on earth would GSW trade Randolph for Flynn? Makes no sense.

Because the rest of your package isn't good enough to get the deal done? Anyway, I was just spitballing here .. it wasn't a trade I put a lot of thought into. I was just hoping for a little discussion, but I don't think this is going to work anyway.

warriors fan here. No to that deal. It is ridiculous. We don't want KMart and Ellis to take 50 shoots between them. Also, we're find the way we are. No to Morrow,Curry,AR trade.
