Orlando @ Boston Game Thread 2:30 ABC

Post#1 » by canman1971 » Sun Feb 7, 2010 3:00 pm

Here is my lame ass game thread. Feel free to change West if you are around and feel the need. Yes, we have to deal with those lovely ABC announcers. Pierce is expected to play and Daniels deems himself ready, so we should have a full complement of players, although not 100% yet.

Celtics kind of need to win this game to get on track. If not it will just be the same old same old: beating weak teams and losing to good ones.
Reggie stood out like a sore thumb no tattoos no agenda no chirping nothing Just a guy who could score at will He played college ball at Northeastern he replaced Larry as Celtics captain he belonged to Boston.
And I still miss him. Even now.

Im really excited to see Marquise play, even if its limited time. He made things work for that 2nd unit when he was healthy.

If they can stay within 5 rebounds of Orl I think they can win this one. They got smashed 47-32 on the boards 17-6 offensively and still should have beat them last time which is pretty much never going to happen again. Health is all I care about. They should get better in theory if they stay healthy..we shall see. It will help if KG grows some balls and takes it Rashard Lewis too instead of being a non factor.

HE's quick enough, but Lewis could exploit him in the post. However, Lewis doesn't really like to play in the post much

As others have stated, looking forward to how Doc uses MD, even in what should be a more limited role than he may have down the road. I doubt he'll have Daniels out there running the point, at least not doing so without Ray or Paul out there.....

Guess Van Gundy forgot the Cavs rough start in stating that all teams, except the Cavs and Nets, go through periods of inconsistency......

Guess Rondo is spending the 1st quarter daydreaming about his all-star game accomodations.

With Orlando shooting as well as they are, we're lucky to be up.

Color me suprised, Doc sends out the dreaded Quis, House, TA backcourt to close the 1st quarter. Hope he sticks with it to start 2nd.

They have 7 TO's. Garnett needs to start being a factor or chalk up another L for sure.

Which is worse? the above statement or KG's game looks like he's a modern day Brad Lohaus now?
