Bump for the hellofit. Caron's still my guy. This was a rough year for all Wiz players, he's just caught the brunt of it. Flip' system doesn't take full advantage of what Caron does well, and it's not terribly flexible, requires a top PG. Caron plays best when he has freedom to make decisions on court. But hell it's not like Flip's system has been working all that great for any of 'em. Sometimes you got to take advantage of what you got and make the best of it. Worst that can be said about Caron is that sometimes he tries to do too much alone.

And if Saunders is sticking around, Butler's potential may never again be maximized within the remainder of his contract. Butler has value and (hopefully) discerning GMs trying to craft a winner can see the improvement in his defense--or that it was there all along and just needed a system to utilize it--as well as see that he's just not fitting with the new system. For the long term good of the Wizards, best to trade him before the contract expires, but not for mere expirings. Better to wait until next year. It's better to push now for a Jamison trade.

Butler's no Scotty Pippen, but in the right system, with the right roster, he could still really be something.

Time to bump this since CB is all these rumors.

Personally at this point. I hope we move AJ and keep CB. I think he will play better without AJ.

Haywood
Blatche
CB
MM
Foye

Maybe part of the hero ball is just trying to take the lead over AJ so he doesn't get traded. Once AJ is moved and we are past this trade deadline, maybe he returns to CB team glue guy.
