I'm pretty sure New Jersey would trade Brook Lopez still in a one-for-one. Trade for Bynum and you have an expiring plus+Lopez giving you the ability for Hinrich. This is just tough I don't know.

Why the hell are you talking bout trading Bynum?

Damn, your team just kicked the soft Portland Trailblazers around last night for I was at the
game and left with over four minutes to play. Any update on how Andrew is doing?

I always wondered why Blazer management did not pursue Lamar last off season for he has
been terrorizing soft guys like LaMarcus Aldridge for the past three seasons. LA earned the
win last night with hard work and timely scoring from Brown and Artest. Blazers edge has
a succinct write up on last nights game but I wondered before the game whether Kobe
not playing actually helped the Lakers last night for it forced them to concentrate on
getting the ball in the paint. What's up with Pau for he seemed more in sync with the
soft Blazers as opposed to the rest of the Lakers.

As I wrote on the Blazer's board, I hope we can give you guys a better game when we meet
in the Staples Center in April. Should be a different game for Roy and Kobe will be playing
and I'm still crossing my fingers that Greg Oden will be back for Portland to play limited
minutes for the guy is rehabbing himself hard hoping he can get back before the end of
the season.

Roy's more important to Portland than Kobe is to LA. I semi expected a loss last night (as much as I wanted to say otherwise). Roy's amazing and without him, we may be as bad as the nets...

Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

So nice to see this team win without 1 guy taking 25 shots. I think Phil should go with the same rotation tomorrow

Um, I'm not saying Roy's better than Kobe, I was alluding to the fact that LA has a much better supporting cast. Because we have less surrounding talent, we have to rely on our star a lot more than LA does. I'm not saying Kobe's not amazing, and I definitely think he's better than Roy, but Roy means more to Portland than Kobe means to LA with Portland's marginal surrounding talent.

Are you trying to say that that's not horrible b/c in the western conference it is, and it should attest to why Nate Mcmillan is the worst coach in the league. This is when Portland needs to step up, yet we've gone 1 under .500 without Roy against a team we ALWAYS beat at home. This was our win, we gave it away, LA didn't take it.

I'm just curious -- not upset, just curious -- but how did they give it away?

If the Blazers had blown a big lead, as in 2000, then fine. But L.A. rolled them over the final three quarters to win going away. If there had been a fifth quarter -- a quinter, if you will -- they might have lost by 30.

And no, 6-7 isn't great, but I'd say most teams wouldn't be overly upset at treading water without their star player.

Injuries first and foremost, which I blame directly on the worst training staff in the NBA. It's ironic huh, we're 7 games over .500 even with the garbage coaching and training staff we've got...

The Blazers aren't most teams. a team that won 54 games a season before should fair better without it's star and a guy who's apparently worthless according to some in greg oden...

I guess some people let a 54 win season get to their heads.
