Superbowl XLIV - Colts vs. Saints

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Feb 7, 2010 3:47 am

A rare game where I don't really care who wins. On the one hand I'd like to see Manning win and have one more ring than Brent to go along with his one more MVP award. On the other hand the Saints have never won and New Orleans could use the boost. But I can't stand Tom Benson. I guess I just want a game that goes into the fourth quarter close. Money has been on the Saints line is down to 4.5.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm predicting that this will be a terrible game to watch, with the Colts likely blowing out the Saints. The last two Super Bowls have been extremely exciting, so we're due for a let down. Hopefully the commercials are decent, they've been getting worse for about the last 5 years or so.

Prediction: Colts 31 Saints 17.

Exactly how I feel about this game.

I'm with you, I don't really care who wins, both teams winning have their advantages. I'll be rooting for the Saints but it won't be bad if the Colts win. This is a rare win-win game for me too.

I'm looking forward to The Who as well. Hopefully Townshend smashes his guitar...

Aint the two best guys from 'the who' dead already? So it shouldn't even be called the who really. Its like calling Queen Queen without Freddie Mercury

Manning is the smartest QB i have ever seen. The Saints D, is not that great, and if they try to blitz manning will take his shots, and i see him having a great game and winning the MVP.
I see Reggie Bush making some sort of big play, and Brees staying in the game but never being within one possession.

2 are dead, but they weren't the "best".

Yeah it's hard to say who is/was the "best." Keith Moon is considered one of the greatest drummers of all time and John Entwistle was one of the best bass guitarists, but Daltrey (lead singer) and Townshend (guitar) were the most recognizable in the band.

All four were great. Roger and Pete are still great.

If the Saints from the first 13 games of the season show up it's going to be a hell of a game.Although I'd still take the Colts in a close one (38-35).

If the Saints from the NFC Championship game vs the Vikes show up the game will be over by halftime and the Colts will roll by something like 42-20.

Personally I think the good Saints show up and make it a close game, but come up just a bit short.

Like I said before I do think the Colts win one way or the other but I'm hoping the Saints take it.

I like the Saints in this one. Colts are just too banged up. I see Brees tearing Indy apart.
