This is kind of off-topic but I feel like KVH's words of wisdom fit this team perfectly:

Man I miss the big softie... I bet he could come out of retirement and EASILY be our best shooter.

I miss Bookie Nachbar!
Do you guys remember him?
I loved watching him try and dunk on everybody and fail.

Yeah it really is sad that he didn't want it more, at the same time I respect the fact that he went out on his own terms and that while he could have made more $$$ it was never all about the money for Van Horn.
Going back though Kerry Kittles might be my all-time favorite Nets player. BTW you should probably merge this with the random thoughts thread, IDK why I didn't post it in there to begin with...

Re: Season / KVH Tribute.
I was a big KVH fan and he is probably the reason why I became a Nets fan for life. I will always remember him such great moments, like beating the Mavs at the buzzer with an off balance jumper over Rodman, as well as his winning buzzer beater against the Celtics in his second year in the league. Also that big game he had against the Pacers at game 5, unfortunately I do remember that big foul when that annoying Reggie Miller(I say that with all due respect to Reggie)kinda suckered him into jumping on him, thus having Reggie shoot three freethrows at the line. I wish Keith all the best in his endeavors...
