this is only good if boise joins the mountain west, and who knows how long that takes

Definitely losing to a non BCS team.

Now instead of the MWC having 3 BCS busting/winning teams they have a 2-1 record, and the loss was unspectacular to say the least.

Guess who else has a 2-1 record in BCS busting appearances with their one loss being unspectacular. The WAC.

If I were to ask you how close the WAC was to getting an automatic bid you'd laugh in my face and say they have no chance. Now the MWC has the exact same pedigree, except for the fact that in the one head to head match up we lost, and they won.

Wow, 2 former Cougar stars in trouble for fraud on the same couple days. Everyone knows Utah County is the MLM capital of America, it is also full of fraudsters and Madoff wannabes.

Multi Level Marketers, the owners are the worst people in the world, and the people who buy into them are the dumbest people in the world.

What a freakshow.

Sorry to bump, but it was national recruiting day and the Utes had a pretty good class. Four 4 star players including two WR's that should go quite well with Jordan Wynn.

BYU did pretty well too and finished a few spots behind the Utes, even with Jake Heaps.

Wow......delusional much. Rivals is the poorest college recruiting website out there. Maybe you should try Scout.com and ESPN......where BYU's class is ranked in the top 25 on scout and 26 on ESPN .

It's really too bad you guys couldn't land Heimuli. I'm a Coug, but I would like to see local products stay local. Anyway, looks like both teams made a pretty good haul. BYU's was ranked 24th until late that day.

But really, recruiting classes don't mean anything if you can't win from it. Plus missions really throw a kink into things.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Why is rivals the poorest college recruiting website? Because BYU isnt ahead of Utah in it?

BYU was in the lead all year until signing day, so its not as if they had Utah rated ahead of them all year. ESPN doesnt even rank JC players. Had Schwenke stayed with BYU they would have likely been even with Utah.

Go ahead and enjoy another February championship if it makes you feel better. We'll see in a couple years.

You have to be foolish to put any stock into recruiting class rankings....and if they mattered, what does it say about them when BYU has won 3 of the last 5 meetings, all the while "losing" the recruiting battle? It must say alot about the coaches.
