Marcus Camby

Post#1 » by BBallMasta+ » Mon Feb 8, 2010 4:19 pm

This may not work but in my nba2k game i traded scal eddie and baby for marcus camby and some scrub, i think novak, and my defense was nasty at the big positions. KG and Perk in the starting lineup and just rotating them with Camby and Wallace is unreal. After we do that we can still possibly trade Ray for one of those many trade rumors that are out there or maybe camby will spark us with life cause he wants a championship ring real bad and we can keep him. Thoughts?

Please never again use what works on a video game as a rationale for a real basketball decision. Thank you.

If you are trying to tell me right now that Marcus Camby would not be better for our team than i can't jump and love to get blocked by everyone Glen Davis, scal who doesn't play, eddie who can't shoot, then that is ridiculous. Video Game or not, he would be a huge step up in our chances for banner 18. And he has a consistent jump shot which can help spread the floor even more for rondo

Hmm, there is something wrong around here but I just can't put my finger on it.

If we could enable "trade override" in real life too I bet they would accept it.

What about creating a player? If I was 6-9 in real life and could give the Celtics 20 minutes of production at the back up 3 I think we would be in better shape.

hahaha i guess maybe it wasn't a good idea? Just want to add I'm currently 9-0 in my season if that adds some validity to my argument.

Don't they cap stats you can give to created players nowadays though? What the Celtics really need are some cheat codes.

We should consider adjusting the game sliders so we shoot 100% on 3s as well. That way we don't even have to spend 10 minutes making a player we can just shock everyone when Perk and Shelden Williams both go 12/12 from 3 (but Sheed would still find a way to shoot under 30%)
