start ta, bring ray off bench, trade eddie for pg

Post#1 » by FeedReed » Mon Feb 8, 2010 7:28 pm

all these minutes and running around playing d is making him too exhausted to shoot. start ta in his place, let ray come off the bench. he'll be a lot more effective playing against bench guys in a reduced role, maybe 25 mpg. now you gotta trade eddie because ray needs to work with a decent pg. maybe trade eddie and sheed for ? pg and you'd have him, ray, marquis, baby, and sheldon as the backups. baby and sheldon are both weak though, maybe there is no hope for 18 after all. how do you not re-sign leon? ahhh

Leon would be making a huge difference right now huh?We would be undefeated right had we signed him..dude is playing crazy ball down in Cleveland right now...

And I'm saying this for the last time...TONY ALLEN WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER START ON THE CELTICS WHILE RAY ALLEN IS HERE. It's as simple as that...

you gotta look at the big picture. leon will be back by playoffs. baby has 0 lift, he's not an nba player. i don't know if ta will start, but i definately think it would benefit the team. if not him than marquis.

Saying Davis is not an NBA player is kind of ridiculous.

why? he can't shoot, and can hardly get a shot off underneath. his defense isn't very good. he is a decent offensive rebounder but that's it.

Ask Orlando if they thought he could shoot in the playoffs last year? All we need to do is trade Scal and J.R. for a backup pg and we are good to go. Getting Daniels, KG, PP and BBD healthy and back in the fold and we will be good.
Will the real Dino please stand up!

A couple of weeks of solid play a good player does not make. Mark Blount anyone? At the moment Davis is pretty ordinary. Maybe he can improve in the last third of the season but I for one would rather Sheldon gets those minutes. He rebounds, he hustles, he works hard.

Totally agree about Ray off the bench, and that's not a bad thing for Ray, same as Sheed. There's gotta be quality on the bench, everyone else has it.

Disagree about TA being the replacement, like Quis better if he gets in game shape.

Face it, we're short two good players. Wing and reserve pg, pf if KG goes down again.
Pierce, Rondo and Perk are all playoff level starters (and even this depends on the Captain's health and his ability to play 4 quarters of team ball.....and while I'm at it, the loss against the Magic falls on the new captain's shoulders, Rondo. He's still hot and cold as far as offensive and defensive effort, when he lags (Q3), we suck.
Tanking :nonono: Live for the day 8-)
