I'd gladly pay Bell $2 million as our 13th guy. No questions asked.

All of you guys slamming Bell are the same guys slamming our current team for their "apparent" lack of heart on a nightly basis. Makes me think you don't have the slightest idea of what heart is.

And who the hell cares how old someone is anymore? Nash is the oldest PG in the league and he has also been its best.

I know many younger PGs that aren't half the PG Nash is. Point is, Bell may be older but I would take Bell at $2m over any other league scrub for the vet. min. any day of the fricken' week.

I'm sure he does how about come back to philly. Marquis Daniels stinks as a backup maybe in Boston where he could win a title. Phoenix is good better then rotting on the bench for the lowly warriors. I liked raja ever since sixers got him in 01. Also a return to utah he did good there too?? hapring retired??

how sweet.... the love affair continues.

No way to Bell this yr. May be next at minimum change. But seriously... the guy is done. He was done in Char and now ??? Come on. Lets not add him to the list above (Pike, Burke, Grant, the amazing SMarks...) this is no longer the home for old vets... well, lets just say our 2 beds are full

He'd be like that good looking ex girlfriend... after a while, you miss her.... take her back and you are quickly reminded as to why you were apart.
What ? Me Worry ?

I was pretty critical of his defense after that injury he copped in the play-offs Vs Dallas. His lateral movement was never quite the same after that and that's effectively what made him such a good defender.

I mentioned this a few months ago (RE: getting him for the VetMin) but realistically I'd just expect him to be a shooter. Of course he's gonna try on D and provide some good positioning but if I was critical of his D after the first injury I'm not expecting him to stop anyone remotely quick with a few more injuries after that. He was pretty good against strong SGs even tho he usually gave up a few pounds mainly thanks to his gritty determination.

I don't expect him to do much here, but if the NBA has a roster space for players like Taylor Griffin, I'm sure we can make space for Raja. Even if he plays 10min a game, his locker room presence would be good for the team.
