"Durant, is averaging 14.8 on 28.6 percent shooting during the four-game slide to Portland."

This worries me greatly. His streak and the teams streak is seriously at risk V the Blazers!

What worries me Clangus is that I hear from my "sources" that LaMarcus Aldridge is requesting to wear a Portland version of this for the rest of the season.

LaMarcus is a shot blocking machine! Durant needs to watch his ass.

LaMarcus is and over paid, soft, wuss, who needs to toughen up if he wants to live up to that #2 draft pick selection.

Machine? He may be able to block shots occasionally, but take this Blazer fan's word for it, his defense isn't what will win or lose the game.

The only problem with that logic is that LA happens to be one of the better players in a weak draft class. While yes, there were 2 better guys drafted after him IMO (Roy and Gay), the Blazers could've done a lot worse. Say-- Ammo...

Well he was drafted behind Bargnani and in front of Morrison and Ty Thomas, so he doesnt have a whole lot to live up to. Also he avg 18 and 9 in January and is avg 22 and 9 in 4 games this month so i think you guys should stop worrying about LA and worry more about your pf avg 6 rpg

I should have green fonted it. LaMarcus is softer than baby skin. I'm desperately trying to move the guy in my fantasy league.

I'm extra pumped for this one. Its mainly because of Slick and his ribbing the Blazer fans.

I thought about putting something in the game thread but I figured you had it all covered.

Haha. Well with due respect he isn't a horrible fantasy player, though I could see where you're coming from if you need rebounding. As far as blocking goes, It's almost a given that he won't dominate there. Yes, his blocking stats are a bit down, but they never were high to begin with.

Yeah I know Green is only snagging a handful of rebounds and so does Sam Presti. That's why he is not going to grossly over pay for his services. Unlike Kevin Pritchard did with LMA.

I hope you're right, wiff.. because we're in the exact same boat as PDX. Legit star that will need an extension ASAP and supposedly worthy sidekick that won't want to be a lame duck if the star is extended.

If Roy and LMA didn't have their rookie scales end the same year I'm positive they could have gotten away paying him less.. let's hope Green doesn't end up with 5/50 or something crazy.

Sounds like you know Presti, but i guess we will see. 5 yr/65 mil is not that big of a contract compared to other PFs that LA comes close to in production and skill.

Was LMA that much more productive last year than Millsap? Different players, but I dunno if that difference is worth 15M.

LMA isn't that bad a deal for Portland since he plays his position, Green isn't really a PF and signing him to an excessive amount..
