You don't purposely tell your players to lose, but here's what they should do.
1) Trade Gomes for an expiring + late pick
2) Give Gomes's minutes to Brewer, Ellington, and Tucker
3) Limit everyone to 30 minutes a game... we don't need to ride out studs 36-40 min a game and try to win, give everyone a chance.
4) Actually play guys like Stewie, Jawai, and Tucker and see if they deserve to be in the NBA or not.
5) If it's a close game, give Sasha some minutes it's not really tanking but it is in a way.

You guys have it backwards. We ALWAYS get lucky where we draft.
We drafted when the consensus BPA was Josh Howard. We took Ebi.
We drafted when the consensus BPA was Granger. We took McCants.
We drafted Roy, then traded him.
We drafted 3rd in a consensus 3 player draft and took OJ Mayo, then traded him for Love + better contracts/players. That one actually worked out right, and Love looks like a top 2 guy from that draft IMO.

The point is we've been plenty lucky at drafting in a good spot. We just screwed it up. You're blaming bad decisions on bad luck, it's just not the case.
