How Good Can Jawad Be?

Post#1 » by mcfly1204 » Wed Feb 10, 2010 3:02 pm

It's hard for me to gage his potential. On one hand I want to say that he will never amount to much, or be a solid role player because of what he has does in the league to this point. On the other hand he seems to be a solid defender, a good athlete, a pretty good shooter, and has an overall high basketball IQ. Any thoughts/possible comparisons?

The guy continues to play solid and is playing better than Moon right now. I really like Jawad, hes a 2/3/4 type player, and can shoot the three. Not sure about potential - but I will take him how hes playing now all day

It's amazing how injuries can be blessings in disguise.

He's solid right now, does a little bit of everything.

I like Jawad. I think his ceiling is a solid rotation player, but given he was a D-league call up, that is pretty impressive actually.

I don't know how good Jawad can be, but it's a pleasure to see an inexperienced Cav taking the court and not looking shell shocked.

I swear if Jawad could consistently knock down the 3 I would think the Cavs didn't need to make any move before the deadline. His shooting definitely appears to have fallen off a tad.

Every scrub puts up career highs against the Nets. It's been a recurring theme this year, trust me.

You also see the effects of practicing against LeBron. Jawad looks unafraid man on man.

If only the same could have been said about Pavlovic.
