And of course I wish Ethan good luck, I've heard about him having that disease before, hopefully he will make it through.

im sure slam can explain it better than i can... but apparently at his work, they get a group of people, then they put the contestants names in a hat. they each pick a name. if their person wins survivor, then they win the prize (i assume there is a prize). slam picked coach. im so jealous. we used to do something similar for american idol, but now i work with a bunch of people who are apparently too good for office pools. *sigh*

Fats pretty much nailed it. Last series I pulled "Shambo" - at least Coach is an upgrade over her!

Because it's the Heroes Vs Villians theme this series we pulled two names, one good guy and one bad guy.

I got Coach and Tom.

I hope that Ai's kid is ok, but I thought it sucked that he was named a starter for the All Star game - now that he has missed a week of ball leading up to it I think it sucks even more.

Fats, what do you think of the new Survivor season? Starts tomorrow.

Personally, I'm not too thrilled seeing hasbeens Rupert and Boston Rob and Colby and Amanda back...however, this season has a lot of interesting characters for true Survivor fans. StephaME, Sandra...Tom...it will be fun to watch.

I wonder if some of the more popular chocies turned it down.

im pumped. i cant wait. i always liked amanda. she should have won it twice but she was awful in front of the jury both times. but mainly i will be rooting for the villains. go coach. go russell.

also, so happy to that AI is now out of the trainwreck stage and into the talent stage. last night was good stuff.

lets hope celeb apprentice holds my attention.

Why oh why isn't Johnny Fairplay in this series?

they are probably still pissed at fairplay from last time he came on the all-star series. he got down there and then after 2 days decided he didnt want to be there any longer and he left. i dont think fairplay has the stomach to live like an animal any longer. he's been pussified by hollywood.

Not to mention Probst really really hates Fairplay and did not want him on Micronesia.

Fairplay, the moment Pearl Island hit the finale, changed forever into a different person. Unfortunately, a lot of the Survivors that are cast are the same way....they realize their celebrity status and they act like media whores afterwords.

I heard Probst saying in some preview that this season was intense from the start, he said they had "broken thumb, dislocated shoulder and topless finish" in the very first challenge...

Probst started to hate Fairplay after (I think Pearl Islands?) after series party. He had to be a real nuisance there obviously.

I wanted Penner, well there is still a hope they wont do just normal seasons for 21 and 22 (I heard Probst signed for another two seasons). There are other people i would want in Samoa but whatever. I just dont like some people being there for the third time (not counting medevac cases like James).

Either the challenge in the mud in which we can see Rob in the intro is going to happen next episode or he will walk it out. I would miss him if he goes down like that he is great this season (again). Lets just hope - those previews are often misleading, not so much when it is about injuries though.

I quite love the cast, only Candice is quite boring (not enough ties with others, not so eccentric,...) and I cant really say why but I cant stand Colby already.

well...... that was a crappy drive home. took an hour to get from fort mill to charlotte. roads are covered. saw a ton of wrecks on sharon rd west and gleneagles as cars came down and up those steep hills.
