Never heard of him so he hated the pick.

Brilliant.

Like many of us I questioned the pick but I'll give the guy a chance. We'll be in the spotlight tomorrow night.

Only guy that went after Harrell in the 1st round that I'd really consider now would be Aaron Ross.

Maybe Greg Olsen, but with the emergence of Donald Lee, I'd pass.

The language is bad but that is funny. I have to admit that I kind of felt the same way initially but I am older and more mature and after contemplation, I remember reasoning with my own inner feelings and thinking maybe Tedd believes this guy could be dominant like Tommie Harris or something. At this point I am about 75% sure he will be a bum but I will give him through next year to be sure.

I trust TT so I was fine with the pick, but I laughed so hard because I knew a bunch of people would have the same reaction that, that kid did. Sure enoughthis board, the jsonline board, and my cell phone were flooded with messages saying "What the ****!? Who the ****!? Why now Meachem/Olsen/a trade/etc."

EDIT: I went to our draft thread and here were the reactions.

hahaha, nice work.

To be honest I think most here would still have a reason to be upset with the pick, though back then it was I think it was because they thought our offense needed help. Looking back at the draft...where do you go knowing what you know now? Bigby is a legit NFL starter. I'm not Collins biggest fan by any means, but he isn't a liability and is still young. Rouse looks like a playmaker. Donald Lee looks like he could have a Pro Bowl or two in him. Obviously everyone knows about our excellent group of WRs. Bush has gotten better every game.

So I don't know.

Leon Hall and stash him away for a year? Jon Beason at SLB? Ben Grubbs at guard or Joe Staley at OT?

Harrell is likely to see some PT tonight. Lets hope he shows something.

it seems like that draft pick may pay off tonight...if he plays like a 1st round pick TT will look like a mad genius....to a point where its scary... (its like TT is from the future and knew what he needed)

IF Harrell can really hold his own for the amount of snaps Grease & The Blimp typically get to rest each game - he justifies his selection.

In other words he needs to play at Jolly's level or at least Cole's best.

For the most part agree, although I'd add Reggie Nelson to that list probably.
