As a Syracuse guy, I am partial to Hakim. Any thoughts about Rasual Butler or Thorton for Warrick. I think Warrick may be the type of addition (Low Cost/High Flyer/ Hasn't hit his NBA stride yet) that would work for the Clips.
Any thoughts or are you just going to laugh?

He is expiring too. I really don't know. Rasual has been playing well lately and Thornton would be cheaper to keep next year.

To me, he is like a clone to Thornton. No thanks.

+1
While I haven't payed close attention to Warrick, I think he doesn't bring anything different to the table that Thornton can't. Both are athletic players that are offense-minded, are primarily mid range players that can be aggressive at times, and are not particularly good defenders. It would be redundant to have them both on the team, and if we trade them for one another, I don't think it's going to make a noticeable difference.

Isn't Warrick a little bigger? I think they bring a few different things to the table and making this deal would wipe Thornton's contract off the table this summer as well. This is a deal the team could look at.

Yeah, he is a PF while Al is a SF who can play spot minutes as a PF.

Re: Hakim warrick
Bucks fans hate Warrick and want to dump him, but sounds like you guys hate Thornton too and he is your only SF under contract for next year?
Thorntons numbers for the minutes played look decent so is he that bad of a defender?

I certainly wouldn't be dancing in the streets or bestowing a bunch of praise on Hammond though.
It's like taking three huge dumps on your kitchen floor, then cleaning up one of them.
