I don't know, but twice in the last decade teammates have gone 2-3. Okafor-Gordon and Williams-Dunleavy.

Con. playing Syr. tonight, Robinson vs. Johnson. If Robinson outplays Johnson then I don't know what to think of Johnson. Anyway it should be an interesting game to watch.

Has Johnson kind of fallen off his game lately? Or have others just shown so much they're passing him?

I'd have gone with prostate cancer, but your joke makes him sound like more of a bitch.

Oh speaking of, we don't have any female posters on this board do we? Have we ever had regular female Wolves fans here? I think the only person that I know is a female on the entire REALGM network is yungal, but she's a homer-Bullets fan.

I couldn't tell you the last time I've met a girl who is an actual NBA fan. Even with baseball or football your lucky if they know a few players and the most I usually get out of them is 'so and so is cute" kinda thing. :-?

I remember Cy, the Hoiberg lovin' grandma. I think the Marc Jackson gal was before my time.

Did anybody see Georgetown vs. Providence last night? Greg Monroe looks like he could be a nice up-tempo C if he's really 6'11". He's not as soft as I thought he was, he does a good job of seeking out contact once a shot goes up in order to establish position for a rebound. He's not exactly explosive, but he'd be the most athletic big man on the roster aside from Hollins (backhanded compliment at best). He put on an absolute show from a passing standpoint last night.

His improvement from last year to this year makes me cut Favors a little more slack, since they're both big men that are a little younger than most in their class. There's a lot of good big men in this class, along with some good wings. Makes me glad we stocked up on PG's last year.

I kinda disagree on the Monroe as a C thing. He's too good of a play maker to put him at the C imo. I guess there are play making Centers, but I'd rather put him in a Diaw type position. I <3 Monroe...pause.

C in the triangle. Even Hollins gets possessions run through him. C's probably where he gets the least exposed defensively. Put Monroe in the high post and get some off the ball activity going on offense, or let him try and take big guys off the bounce.

Monroe is a great fit on this team as a 5, I doubt he's there with the CHA pick.

as a 3 he's obv 20/10/5 machine, ROY, MVP, DPOY

If we came out with a draft of turner + monroe, thats a win.

Quit making fun of me! Just cuz I liked two of the best PFs in the last two drafts to be SFs doesn't mean it's open season on dunk.

Some have probably read this but I thought I'd post it. It's a quote from the recent draftexpress article about Xavier Henry:

On the defensive end, Henry puts in pretty good effort and shows a solid fundamental stance in perimeter man-to-man defense, but laterally he just doesn’t seem to have the foot speed to stay in front of quicker guards, making it questionable if he can be a shooting guard defensively in the pros. Despite being just a touch undersized for a small forward at 6’6, Henry does do a much better job against slower, bigger opponents, being able to stay in front of them and use his length to contest shots, making it more likely to see him project as a 3 in the pros, which also makes sense given his underdeveloped ball-handling skills.

I've always wondered if he'd be better off defending 3s. If he can prove it in pre-draft and the team has a chance to get Turner, I think Henry should be next on the list. He just fits so well.

And just to touch on Monroe, I can't honestly see him in Minnesota. The team needs a better Ryan Hollins as that 3rd big, not another unathletic stiff. He's talented, I'll give him that and if it comes around to the Utah pick and he's still on the board I'd have no problem taking him but with the way the team is set up I can't see the point of trying hard to go after him.
