Simply, the Jazz get a player at a need position which is a back up center who would help the Jazz's biggest weakness, poor interior Defense. The Jazz give up a player that plays virtually no minutes (Korver) who will likely leave the Jazz as a free agent in the off season, Kosta who may have some upside but has showed little, A #1 pick in 2011 which has little value, and Brewer (a good player whose minutes get divided amongst Matthews and Miles). Miles kept over Nrewer because he has more upside and Memphis prefers Brewer to get deal done. Why not do the trade?

If you dont think the Jazz are championship then why is Boozer on the team because he is gone is off season for nothing.

I like the idea alot. I would love to see this happen with as minimum players as possible though to team the team unity we have going on. Korver for Camby is great with our trade exception and then throw in the #1 2011 pick (don't we owe Min or someone a 1st round pick? Not sure if tradeable). I think Brewer is a different Wing with his defense and athleticism then the standard shooting wing, so I would like to keep him.

Korver(5.16mil) + Kosta(1.21mil) + pick for Camby (9.15 mil)?

Korver expires at the end of the year as Camby does, LA would get a small trade exception, a pick and potential good big for the future. I see them doing this if they feel they are going to lose Camby anyways at the end of the year. And they don't get any better offers.

Both Bynum and Gasol owns Camby. Length and height DOES NOT BOTHER Bynum and Gasol. Bulk and strength bothers them greatly. Bynum and Gasol have always owned Camby.

If you play Camby over Okur, it would leave both Bynum and Gasol in the paint which could be bad for your offense. Camby is also a liability on offense. For a system like the Jazz where all 5 players are involved offensively, Camby would be the blackhole. He likes to shoot long jumpers which he sucks at. He can't post up and he's definitely too slow to face up.

Camby is not the answer in my opinion.

Camby is too stringy imo. He can't bang with them, and that is what we need.

Huh? Did you just say that raw FG% is better than defensive efficiency? If so, you couldn't possibly be serious.

Yes, opponenets FG% is a much more important statistic than opponent's point per game, since that mostly depends on the tempo of the game than anything else, or blocked shots and rebound differential........
