I would have to agree with this. Mike's comment of "taking my ball and leave" summed up his wussy mentality. Mike used Kerr's comments to get out while he could, to a team that loves to spend. Plus Mike saddled us with bad contracts that Kerr was then forced to trade.

Mike was equally to blame for the KT trade, implying that he didn't see the point of paying KT that kind of money when he didn't fit in the system. Yet later he felt that Shaq would do so much better.

Even though Kerr was the GM, Mike caused many of those choices.

Suns stated a bunch of times in interviews they liked Blair but didn;t think he was right for this system. They wouldn't have taken him.

Goran is who the team fought like crazy to get. Hairston sucks and was only who SA wanted(just like we only took Rudy because that is who Portland wanted , wish people would realize this). Suns wanted Aaron Brooks but not at 21, Houston took him and they got stuck with T ucker.

Well you are talking like you were in on the choices, and I am not going to believe anything that they said in interviews. Our FO has been playing the smoke and mirror game for years.
By the way, we took Rudy at #24, not #21, which was only two picks away from where Brooks went.

Either way, it was a wasted draft, and it cost us three drafts picks, James Jones, and later KT. Overall, it was Kerr, Sarver, and Mike that were to blame.

Yep. He's part-owner. Someone needs to take his share.

I understand he sold like $10 million in interest in the team in the last year so he could finance payroll and that dreaded tax.

Hey Suns bros, sorry I been away so long.

SS got quite lucky in October and wound up at a private party for Suns courtside ticket holders at the home of a Suns owner the weekend of the Palm Springs game.

I talked to Steve Kerr for 20 mins that night. He very readily admitted to all the mistakes that we call him out for. I asked him about all of them. I told him how disgusted I was with Porter, how no amount of Matrix whining is worth Shaq, and how fans feel about cost cutting trades that make the team worse. Again, he was quick to say that it was wrong to try and force a team to be something it wasnt and how I would see the recommitment to Suns BB this year.

In a GM or coach, I want to see flexibility. I want to see accountability. I want to see someone who will ackowledge how much us fans love the team, and who makes me feel like winning is their first priority. Its there, I believe it. I met Steve, Sarver, Griffin, West, AA, Rick Welts, Aaron Nelson (and all the players) that weekend. They thought I was important, they talked to me. I believe in this regime, their goal is to win while being fiscally responsible. I want Steve to stay and I think he will. Again, he admitted his mistakes with Shaq and Porter to me in person, he is learning and will get better. No GM is perfect, they all make mistakes.

PS - I also spent time with Julie Fie and have the biggest crush on her. Also, spent 5 mins of my conversation with Steve talking about the shot off the pass from MJ to win the Finals. Awesome to hear his story.

Four picks, actually, if you add the one wasted on Alando Tucker. Carl Landry, Marc Gasol, Ramon Sessions, and a couple other guys were still available when they drafted Tucker
