I hope you guys don't help out the Cavs

Post#1 » by Hemingway » Fri Feb 12, 2010 5:31 pm

Does anyone else think that if the Cavs win a title LBJ stays? As a Celtics fan I think I am with you guys in hoping that Lebron finds a home out west where we only have to see him twice a season and only in the finals. That said, if you give them Jamison or Butler you are only helping the chances that LBJ stays. Helping, say the Celtics is a different story because in a few years when you are good again we will be bad again.

We don't play them again this year, so no help there.

OK, so then who do you suggest Ernie helps? It's not like viable trade partners like Memphis or Minny are blowing up our phone lines...

Orlando. That's a pretty likable franchise. How about Butler/Jamison/Miller/Haywood for Carter/Lewis/Gortat and a 1st? Works in the trade machine. But how about the time machine? Let's trade Haywood to the 1997-98 Bulls for Bill Wennington and Luc Longley. That's 14 feet for a mere 7 feet.

OK, before all the ORL trolls swoop in like hawks on a dove...

I thought we were trying to pawn off Gilby on ORL? His relationship with their GM is the main impetus.
