Here's the forecast:

http://www.wtop.com/?nid=7

Looks like a 50% chance of "snow showers" on Monday. Sounds like a dusting to me.

I'm scheduled to fly to Dallas tomorrow morning for the All Star Game this weekend. I don't know what to be worried about more: getting out of Dulles or landing in Dallas. I just checked the weather for Dallas and it's freaking snowing there. Looks like they're calling for a mix of snow/ sleet/ rain with 2-5 inches on snow accumulation. That just ain't right!

3-6 inches for the early week storm..storm is pretty juicy for a clipper thats not tapping Gulf moisture. Do you guys realize that BWI has had the most recorded snow of any city in the USA this year...this includes Buffalo,Syracuse where they cheat due to Lake Effect

This link says accumulation of about an inch tonight:

Hopefully that will be the last for a while...right, Ji?

People in DC getting in tizzy over one inch! Where I come from, it's snowed more than five feet this season.

Once I saw the remains of a car wreck at Vermont and L streets (no one hurt, apparently). Witnesses said that one SUV ran a light as it turned red, and the other SUV proceeded before the intersection was clear, and the icy snow on the streets likely contributed greatly to the crash. Both vehicles were up on the curb, smashed into newspaper boxes and a light post. As I passed closely, I noticed that one SUV had Minnesota plates and the other had Massachusetts plates. What are the odds? I mumbled to myself, "People in DC don't know how to drive in the snow," and continued on my way.

5 feet is basically what DC's got.

All-time DC snow record
Posted: Wednesday, February 10, 2010 4:06 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC's Tom Costello
The National Weather Service says Washington, DC, has now broken the previous record for total season snowfall.

So far this season, 54.9 inches have fallen on Reagan National Airport. The previous record was set in 1898-1899 at 54.4 inches.

However, most of the DC area has had far more snow than the official record suggests.

Ha ha. Yeah, I live in Logan Circle. Just a joke back at all the comments from people (from Colorado, Chicago, Minnesota, upstate New York, etc.) about DC and snow. Personally, I thought the record was broken in 1995-96.

It's going to take months before all this snow melts. Seriously, it's going to be mid-April and we'll still see mountains of snow.

Its Washington. It will be 70 next week and we will be outside with tee shirts on enjoying the flood. Then it will snow another 2 feet the following week.

:rofl2:

ive really been fed up with the oh that's nothing, im from chicago, buffalo whatever bs and cant help but noticing (like you) that the people causing many of the problems tended to be the very same out of staters complaining about things (the very people complaining being those that never learned to handle this weather in their own hometowns). the alaskans i know think this sucked and ill take their word over one more self-important and delusional chicagoan who thinks they know the district anyday.
