GT: Spurs (29-21) at Nuggets (35-17)

Post#1 » by Nolan » Thu Feb 11, 2010 7:21 pm

When: 10:30 PM ET, February 11, 2010
Where: Pepsi Center, Denver, CO

The rodeo road trip continues with a stop in Denver to face the Nuggets. So far the story of the road trip has been us failing to take advantage of banged up teams. But it looks like the Nuggets are going to be at full strength for this one so we're going to have some major problems. RJ's gonna need to step up tonight and prove that he's worth keeping, he's been awful over the last 10 games and we need him to step up if want to have a chance of upsetting the Nuggets.

Go Spurs!!

Sounds like no K-Mart tonight, but the Nuggets should be at full strength otherwise.

Good first half. But we need to move the ball more on offense and we need to rebound better if we want to win this one.

Well I'm surprised that we won. But it's one game and the road trip has been so disappointing that while the win makes me feel better, it does not stop my worries

That was our best win of the year, by far IMO. Denver is great at home and we were missing TP. Great hustle from Hill and Blair, and Dice hit some nice shots. I hope Mason gets some increased playing time in the stretch run after the AS break. I like what he gives us, but he needs decent minutes to be a factor.

We need the break. I hope TD plays sparingly in the AS game. He could do with the rest.

Tim had that championship look in his eye. I hadn't seen it all year.

The Youngins won this one for us. Hill and Blair played excellent and carried us throughout the game. Also Duncan did well in limited minutes and so did Manu.

There hasn't been much to get excited about this season, and while it was only one game, if we can play this way we can beat anyone.

Of course the one game thats a big win I miss. Was flying home to SA for the long weekend. Saw highlights and the box score looks good.

Agree happy for the much needed rest. This team needs to find a way to put it all together. TD is playing amazing and we can't waste that. How did RJ play? Did you see Blair in the rookie game? 22pts and 23 rebounds completely amazing.

I'm not sure numbers wise, but I didn't see too much from RJ. That was a great performance from Beast Blair. I am so glad we drafted this kid.

Return to San Antonio Spurs
