Well sure, but the MVP isn't awarded for potential.

I'm happy for Tyreke, and I'm glad he shared the award, but Blair deserved it. The rooks could have lost Tyreke, and while they probably would have slipped up a little bit, the rest of their pack of guards could have picked up quite a bit of slack. Blair was completely irreplaceable.

For starters, the fact that the Rookies finally won this year is huge. And though a lot of guys deserve a share of the credit, I'm really glad Tyreke got awarded the MVP award. Even moreso, though, it was great seeing him working so hard to let Blair get his 20th points and to see his joy when Blair finally did. And then offering to share the award with him was just special. Tyreke is a true team player, and I'm proud to say he plays for my team. Tyreke Evans, you are class act, and I hope you can bring more of that to the Kings for years to come!

Blair was the MVP and Tyreke knew it. that is why he did what he did and shared the trophy. Shows that not only is our star point guard a complete un-guardable stud, but he is also a class act!

True leader at 20 years old!

Yeah I was talkin to someone about this last night, Reke's swager for a rookie is one I haven't seen in a long time on anyone. Some of his moves are just ridiculous. That clip of him sayin "I'm a basketball player". Really is just the perfect way to describe his play.

CONGRATS TYREKE!

Man I thought for a while there in between the end of the first half and beginning of the second, that Jennings ("Gumbi" lol) was almost trying to compete with Tyreke bucket for bucket. It just seemed that way IMO which led me to believe he is still bitter about not being drafted earlier and was trying to win MVP. There was a point he flat out didn't pass to a wide open Tyreke but insted passed it to Curry. On the other hand, not only did I love that Tyreke was scoring at will, he was also letting others get thier shine. CLASS ACT.

I thought Casspi looked confused and a little uncomfotable with all that flashy play at times. Overall, he played well and did a hell of a job representing his country. Boy was it great seeing our two rookies on the floor together putting the Kings in the spotlight. It was real exciting when they were both around the ball just past mid-court and Tyreke stole it and dished it to Casspi for the easy score. GO KINGS!

Was it just me, or was commentary with Dwight Howard getting annoying? OMG the whole Marc Gasol "Baby Jesus" thing was getting ridiculously played out. Personally, for as many times as they were saying it got to the point of it feeling very tasteless.
can we just get a new arena already...

Yeaaaa looked nervous haha. As for Tyreke winning the MVP.. I think some of em were shaking their heads (sophs) because Westbrook didnt get a co-mvp or somethin of that sort. While Blair did have the #s, a lot of it was forced action with extra help from his teammates purposely... and those numbers SHOULD be expected from the only "big man" on the team... not to take anything away from it. Don't know what tyrekes cross the board numbers were, but he was solid, probably 26. 3-4, 3-4, and 4-5 steals. Not too shabby

In Israel it's called `Hiyuvim`, which means `obligations`.
