Short and sweet - tell me how high I am:
If Minny gets Wall/Turner in the draft, and puts Rubio on the table, would you condider some variation of this -
MIN out:
Hollins+Expiring Contract+rights to Rubio
DEN out
Nene+Protected 1st
What say you?

Re: Min-Den Rubio-Nene
Denver has no interest in a point guard, especially if they're giving up their only back-to-the-basket big in return. They have an all-star current PG, and a talented rookie learning the ropes. They're good.
Pretty high?

it appears marijuana legalization was passed in minnesota, and the residents are taking advantage.

This has got to be one of the most random ass trade proposals I've seen on realgm, which is saying a lot.

Okay, no pg's involved then.
BTW, you be craazy to think you have no business dealing with the Wolves -- anyone who would like to get under the lux, or enter this year's FA market on strong ground stands to benefit.
This would be just before or at the draft, not at this season's trade deadline:
MN OUT:
Hollins (project 7'1" center who can jump through the roof, is improving his game, gets blocks, plays decent help d, but does not rebound well)
Blount (Large expiring contract; also 7' tall, dislike his game so much that I won't put his name in bold)
CHA pick (there will be comparable talent to Lawson at that range this year)
Cash/2nd round pick (Glen "daddy fat stacks" Taylor will part with a portion of his fortune, or you can Stash a Euro, on us)
DEN OUT:
Nene (I think he'd fit well in the 'triangle', acting as our core defensive big, with good (awesome, actually) all around game, in a trio with Al Jefferson and Kevin Love)
Salary filler contract + future second round pick
The Nuggets would get a backup center, a great draft pick this year, and the financial flexibility to pursue another big
Wolves complete their frontcourt tandem and use one of their expirings to a good end
How High?

Re: Min-Den Rubio-Nene
So we're now trying to dump salary and rebuild?
It's not like that Charlotte pick is going to be (or could be) top 5 or anything. All we get for Nene is a couple mediocre project players who wouldn't even crack our rotation? Really?

Let me put it this way I think you are pretty high, although not on something you smoke, maybe something like a hit or four of acid.
I know it is hard for some fans of teams that are horrible to understand, but teams that are currently firmly in 2nd place in their conference despite their two best players missing a combined 22 games, is not going to trade a key starter for a worthless expiring, and young big with the potential to be a servicable backup, and a pick. This year, or even next when they still view it that they have a major chance to be a contender once again.
If the Wolves want Nene so bad, the deal would have to start with Love, Blount's expiring, and the rights to Rubio. Without that type of deal Denver is not going to lose a starter like Nene for anything less then a steal.
