The Cavs obviously have to acquiesce to Lebron's wishes because they're terrified that he might leave them this summer if they don't kiss his feet on a nightly basis. The Lakers front office has already surrounded Kobe with lots of talent and made sure that their main core will stay intact for the next few years. They're already over the luxury tax and will be for a while and now Kobe is supposed to go to Buss and Kupchak and ask them to add a $10 million player who's shooting 38% from the field?

He's been shooting much better as of late.

You don't need a Hinrich though to improve. You need role players in certain spots, a 9m man is great to have playing PG but this is not baseball. The upgrade necessary at PG isn't earth-shattering. If Fisher were even average it would probably be as big of an upgrade as Artest to Pierce. It's that big of a deal. You can't be sending out all-stars out there to make up for one player.

I don't hate FIsher. I hate when I'm accused of hating him because I think he sucks.

Well, there is rumors over on the Bulls board that Kirk might be had for expirings, as Bulls mgmt believes that they can get 2 quality fa this year. I think by the end of the trade deadline,Kirk, Salmons,Tyrus,B Miller and or Jerome James could all be gone.

I want Kirk Hinrick on the Lakers. I know he makes a lot of money, but he would really put us over the top. So Mitch better get it done and fast. I want us to have an unstoppable edge when the playoffs start.

Morrison, Fisher, and some picks for Harry Potter

give Fisher 30 days of leave to rest up

SF:Artest/Waltom
PF:Gasol/Odom/Powell
C:Bynum/Mbenga
SG:Bryant/Brown/Vujacic
PG:Potter/Fisher/Farmar

It is very unlikely that they trade Miller. Bulls have 2 guys battling foot problems (Noah, Gibson) and another who is on top of the trade list (Tyrus). They have already played Deng out of position at PF in a couple games

James & Pargo are available as fillers in trades but

The most interest in Salmons is coming from orlando - and they reportedly contacted the bulls about a deal.

Hinrich is essential to bulls making the playoffs - but offers have reportedly come from Boston and LAL. Recently, all talk has centered on LA, since Boston now appears reluctant to deal Allen.

Sam Smith reports that the Bulls have an agreement on at least one trade but teams are waiting to see if anything better comes along.
