Gratz Steve 2010 Skills Champ!

Post#1 » by DrFunk » Sun Feb 14, 2010 2:37 am

I know everyone is so excited about this huge event *snicker*. What I DID like however is that almost everyone wrote off Nash as a done deal and expected Deron to steal the show. Well he put on the biggest chocking moment ever, while Nash seemed to half ass it himself~

Nash proving doubters wrong once again...

Nash is always written out but comes out on top. Truly has to be one of the most underated MVP's. Congrats Steve!

Nash's presentation and "block attemp" at williams will probably be the best thing this weekend.

It was a done result even before Nash attempted.

The block attempt was hilarious. Especially after watching the most ridiculous man in the world commercial. It's kind of fun to see players in situations aside from in game serious mode

Nash has always been my favorite point guard. I'm glad he came out on top after everyone had Deron taking it with ease. Although I would've liked to see Drose represent.

I didn't get a chance to watch this last night. Hopefully I can find a video on Youtube or something.

Douchebag-Rose was too "injured" to do a scrubs event like the Skills Challenge, but will play in the ASG. (Btw, what makes him an All-Star?)

Where you trying to quote me?.. He needed the extra rest as he is still injured. I think you'll agree with me that the All-Star game is more important that the skills challenge. Also, you know if were to follow any of the Bulls game, Including the one were he posterized Dragic, you wouldn't ask such a dumb question.

You must forgive hunter. He's a little nuts right now.

Yeah, the Suns giving away our #2 player on the team for beans is making me insane.

Being #1 overall pick is what makes him an All-Star, perhaps, nothing else. Promoting certain players is the league's usual policy, I guess. Like that hype over Oden 2 years ago, while he was injured and hadn't even played a single game in the NBA. Or Blake Griffin in the current season

I've just watched Deron Williams' comment after the event. Kinda "Steve Nash is great, blah blah... but I still hold my record"
'His' record, hah... In fact, the all-time record is held by Nash, too (25.4 sec in 2005)
