how the hell did jason kidd make the all-star team? thats an insult to about 20 other players in the west. i guess he made it just because he was a mav? or maybe he was the only one who agreed on short notice? still its an insult and taints the honor of the all-star selection. just let them play with 11. dont turn it into the probowl where half the league makes the team after all the injuries and pull outs. sad.

IMO the All Star game should be made up of the best player on each team as voted by the fans. 15 per team. Then the coaches can choose the starters.

Screw positions, it doesn't matter. Who cares if? End of the day the whole thing is just for funzies.

That way every team is represented and every fan would have a vested interest.

This is true, I actually care about watching the ASG this year since Crash will be in it.

Nothing p*sses me off more than people saying "player X shouldn't be an All Star because he is on a crappy team".

It's the freaking ALL STAR game. NOT the NBA Finals.

It's not the fault of a good player if his team sucks nuts. He doesn't make the trades. He doesn't sign the FA's. He doesn't coach them. He doesn't build the team. He's just stuck on it.

Last I checked it was a team sport, not an individual sport. How can you hold it against one person and penalize them from an All Star birth if he plays on a team that is poorly put together or run?

For example, Ellis 100% should be on the West All Star team instead of Kidd.

ok... under slams scenario who would everyone put as their 30 all-stars?

can we make the game 15 min quarters?

wiz - jamison
pacers - granger
golden state - ellis
twolves - jefferson
nets - lopez
bucks - bogut
kings - evans
rockets - brooks

what do you do when you have two clear superstars on the same team, like stockton and malone? bird and mchale? magic and kareem?

happy to see NOISE made it. i know that growl-o-meter had a higher PER but i still think that NOISE is more deserving this year.

I had a hard time picking between Scola, Landry and Brooks. NOISE over Howl-o-meter was a no brainer though, gotta play in the actual games if you want to be an All-Star, no matter what you've done in previous years.

LOL, you mean HOWL-o-meter not GROWL-o-meter. Ugh, do the bobcats have a growl-o-meter at home games?

Anyone expecting Crash to get much more than 10 mins or so game time tonight?
