That's just being greedy for a guy who might not even resign.

Yeah when I read about our 1st round draft pick I thought **** no. That guy is nuts. Martin and JT for Amare, MAYBE, but hell no to including the pick.

What about

Martin + Rodriguez + Hawes

for

Aaron Brooks + Shane Battier + David Andersen + expiring (B. Cook)

I feel like Brooks is the perfect guard to put next to Evans as he can space the floor
and would be a good secondary scoring guard in the Kings system. One of the things that makes
Evans special is the ability to make plays, but that means he needs the ball in his hands a lot...
which would be great with Brooks because Aaron is best when he doesn't have to set up teammates
all the time. He is also not injury prone like Martin.
Battier would bring that veteran leadership and defensive mindset to usher the younger core.
Andersen's game is similar to Hawes' but has better range and is older (29).

What you think?

At least you had the right idea if we were looking to dump Martin though.

I think the Suns lose out on that deal. Why not just trade Perkins and Allen for Nocioni, Thomas, and Martin?

Curious if Kings fans feel Biedrins could be a the type of player that Petrie would move Martin for?

Thinking something like
BOS trades Ray Allen and gets Martin/Nocioni
GS trades Biedrins/Radmonovich and gets Ray Allen
SAC trades Martin/Nocioni and gets Biedrins/Radmonovich

SAC gets a young big man and takes a year off of Nocioni's deal. The Warriors unload a couple of contracts and Boston takes on Nocioni to get Martin. There can be more involved to make it more appetizing to GS specifically but do you think the Kings would basically take Biedrins for Martin.

I don't. They wouldn't trade a player as talented as Martin for a guy like Biedrins. They are looking for a quality big man not any big man.
