Ricky Davis?

Post#1 » by daddyfivestar » Tue Feb 16, 2010 7:48 pm

He has to be better than Vujacic, and with Walton injured again potentially for the next few months...
I know he's Bricky but maybe for a Ring Chase he puts it together?

For a league paid 700k or whatever, couldn't hurt. He can always be released before the playoffs.

One of the last players I would want. This dude is dumb and takes horrible shots all the time. Better than Vujacic, maybe, maybe not.

He's not better than Vujacic.

Have you ever seen a Clippers game? In the past two seasons he's been one of the worst players I've ever seen.

Right when he showed up to the Clips, he just seemed to be way over the hill. Way way way over.

does this board really have interest in everyone's garbage? It seems there is a post about taking on every disgruntled or waived player. I'll take Sasha any day of the week over this guy and twice on Sunday!---NEXT

I see LA needing a 6'7 SG/SF who shot 39% from 3p the past 4 yrs and 80% ft. At 30, you think he'd be able put it together for 60 games and win a ring, no? His personality is just that bad?

And btw, I have not seen a Clippers game not against the Lakers in probably a decade, so no I do not know if he's as bad a Vuja.

I've turned my sights to Thornton.

Didn't Sprewell die in 9/11?

You forgot about Isiah Ryder too............ believe it or not he's trying to make a comeback too.

Seriously though, imagine how sad we look if we start taking the Clippers garbage left out in their front door............

While I do think he's better than Sasha, the Lakers don't need a loose cannon like Davis right now.

I've been hearing about a Len Bias comeback... Maybe we can get in on that?

(I figured since we were going for the dark (911) humor, what the hell... Too soon?)

I know nothing of Ricky Davis... I just think we need a more conventional choice if it could be had... And if not, Sasha, Farmar, and (no-dunks) Brown, have been playing passably well with our B-Team lately, maybe there's hope...

Seriously.

We can probably swing a deal that involves Bynum to get not only Len Bias, but also Hank Gathers.

Man, I feel dirty after posting/reading that. Sad what happened to Hank.

If LA signs Davis I'm digitally punching Phil X, semi-sentient, and Danny Darko in the face.

I want to make 700,000 for playing that bad. I would take 100,000. And I can not go to my left very well.
