2012 1st Round Pick (Top 10 Protected)

While the Pacers do regret trading away Quentin Richardson, who provides with enormous cap flexibilty this summer, we feel that acquiring Nick Collison is a steady veteran big to help out our younger bigs. We also pick up a first round pick in this deal, so the Pacers do like this deal.

*The Indiana Pacers immediately cut Sean May.*

sorry Indiana, your gonna have to cut someone first or include someone else in the trade. This would put u at 16.

Then I waive James Jones [SG/SF] and not cut Sean May.

Atlanta has started the rebuilding process and has made a huge trade with Boston

Joe Johnson--14,976,754
Jamal Crawford--9,360,000/10,080,000
Glen Davis--3,000,004/3,000,004
Outgoing: 27,336,758

for

Ray Allen--$18,776,860
Steven Jackson--$7,650,000.......$7,453,250....$9,256,500....$10,059,750
Kendrick Perkins--$4,750,000.......$4,890,208
Outgoing: 31,176,860

Works with the 1.25 rule

I agree to this trade because rather then letting JJ walking for nothing i get back a really good center at a nice price, and upgrade with jackson compared to crawford. As well get a bit more capspace this offseason.

Accepted. We upgrade RayRay to JJ at the exp of Jax and Perks. Jax wants to play heavy minutes and prefers starting so this trade situation is ideal for him. Sucks to lose Perks but we will take our chances on Haywood and/or Camby in the offseason. In the meantime we believe Shelden will become the next Ben Wallace (post prime)

The Orlando Magic and OKC Thunder have agreed to the following:

Orlando will send :

Tracy McGrady - 22,483,124
Shannon Brown - 1,990,000
Jason Thompson - 2,035,920

Total: 26,509,044

for

Lamarcus Aldridge - 5,844,827
Manu Ginobili....$10,728,130
CJ Miles.............$3,700,000
Deshawn Stevenson$3,883,929

Total: 24156886 x 1.25 = 30196107.5 > 26,509,044

Deal Works

We're overly thrilled to pick up a talent such as Aldridge. We're sad to see Tmac and Thompson go but we needed more talent and we got it. We accept!

OKC accepts really like Thompson and hated to give LMA to get him but Thompson was much cheaper and could put up numbers close to what LMA could. Also thought Manu was going to leave so went after Tmac who would probably ask for less money, and can be some help on this team for next year, favorite part of this deal was getting out of Stevenson, and Miles contracts.

Minnesota and Philly have agreed to a trade:

Minnesota sends:

Jeff Green- $3,516,960
Oleksiy Pecherov- $1,547,640

Philly sends: $5,064,600

Thad Young- $2,105,400
Chris Wilcox- $3,000,000

Total- $5,105,400

Math works obviously. Wanted more of a true SF and I'm a big fan of thad. Wilcox adds a different PF option also

Confirmed. We think that Green is a natural 3 who will benefit from playing his natural position. His post game will be much more effective against SF's.

New York and Charlotte have agreed upon a deal:

Mike Miller $9,780,957
Marcus Landry $457,588
for
DJ White $1,036,440
Fabricio Oberto $1,990,000
Ronald Murray $1,990,000
Carlos Delfino $3,500,000

8.51644 x 1.25 = 10.64555 > 10.238545

Charlotte accepts. I get another playmaking option in Mike Miller who I like quite a bit, for pretty much expirings in the hopes that I can re-sign him to a reasonable deal. And who knows with Marcus Landry, he could become something.

Knicks agree.

Reasoning:
We get another prospect in D.J. White while maintaining our cap space (Delfino's contract is only $500K guaranteed next season).

The nets and magic have agreed to a deal.
Juwan Howard- 825,497
Manu Ginobili - 10,728,130
total 11.553627 x 125% = 14.44203375
for
Rafer Alston $5,250,000
Tony Battie $6,606,500
Terrence Williams $2,060,040
total 13.9169

We hate giving up a prospect like twill but we like what manu brings to the table and this gives us more cap room.
