Rockets could not deliver during crunch time. Same old story for this season.

Unbelieveable. 14-2 run to end the game. Why did they take Budinger out again? I thought that Adelmann would have learned that our offense struggles down the stretch, thus costing us our last few games.
Why doesn't he get it yet? Its no surprise that more often than not that lineup falls behind early at the start of games and chokes in the closing minutes of a tight game. Something has to give!

If I could delete those three post up there I would.. dont know why that happened.. Well we saw some good things in this game.. we are after all playing for next season.. so losses dont hurt as bad anymore..

I think its critical for the players confidence to get into the postseason without Yao and Tracy. If the losses didn't matter then I'd prefer be 15 games under .500 and have a shot at Wall or Turner!.

As the Rockets continue to fall. The problem with this organization? The coach is too good..the GM is too good..that would work for a good team...but with a bad team you probably want to think about tanking it right about now.

Bad loss, couldn't close the game out down the stretch. Similar to the theme the past couple of games before the all-star break as well. Need to close out teams at home if we make a late push for the playoffs. At this point, with the Camby trade, it looks like we won't make the playoffs.

I'm losing all faith in Brooks as the starting PG.
When he's not scoring as the PG the team struggles. In other words he can't get the rest of the team going. Tonight a rookie straight out of the D-League,who wasn't even playing PG there!,had the offense running smoother than when Brooks was at the helm.

AB was frustrated.. when he gets in that mode he doesn't come out of it.. He will continue going to basket trying to get a foul until they call it.. which the don't and it just goes down hill from there

imo brooks shouldnt be the main playmaker. should be a 2 or 3 who's ala tmac at making plays and passing the ball. brooks is more of a sg, imo he's like jason terry, off the bench he'd be rediculous. next year he should come off the bench, offense wont be a problem if yao can play and whatever changes happen to the team. lowry should start and brooks should be the 6th man

That's mitigated a bit when Lowry is around, and it'll be a lot better when he isn't relied on to score. Not so worried about either him or Ariza here. Like Mr. E said, I would like to see Ariza play within himself. He's at his best then and he might pick up bad habits if he tries not to, BUT he also stands to develop new aspects of his game, so... just trust Adelman's judgment calls. I still think next year will be awesome if Yao doesn't get injured again.
We're still not managing to play the knock-own, drag-out hustle game we were playing earlier in the year though. I was hoping we'd come out of the post-ASGame break a bit better. C'mon Rockets, that stuff was FUN to watch, get it back!
