It's amazing that we now have 5 wins on the season and two of them are against the Cats.

Congrats on the win Nets fans. (although im not sure why im congratulating you guys
)
Surprising victory as well. Bobcats are only good on their home floor and the nets, well...you know.
Anyhow, good win.

I don't know if I should cry or party right now.
In the last game of my college intramural basketball career I threw up the biggest stinker of my life (0-5, 3 airballs from beyond the arc, 1 airball on a layup, and 1 layup that went in and out) and we lost by 2 in the playoffs, on the flip side...

I hope you're not being sarcastic. I honestly didn't mean to troll or anything. I was simply analyzing the win as a nets fan would.
Sorry if my comment came across the wrong way.

No, I'm fine, got a few warnings a while ago i think. Nothing serious though.
I usually try and stay as anti-troll as possible and as respectful as i can but at the same time get my opinion across, that's why i was worried.
I know the rep me and my fellow raptors fans get, so i try to stray as far away from the stigma as i can.

Re: Official Game Thread: Nets 103 Bobcats 94
A great win. Although, Brook could've shown more effort rebounding the ball, it's still sweet victory. I know he was in foul trouble but he still could've grabbed more than 3 rebounds.
Talking about Brook Lopez, one thing i've been noticing is his lack of BBIQ. I know many thinks that it's one of his strengths but if you really watch his game, you'll notice that some of the plays that was ran through him stayed the way it is and the end result was a TO. Sometimes he doesn't know how to adjust to the game. Mostly it was the give-and-go plays and some was like the pass downlow to Yi when i, myself, on the television, didnt even see Yi because he was being blocked by whoever was guarding him. Brook still continued on the play and then he turns it over.
Also, try to notice, when an opponent shoots the ball outside, he looks for his guy for a box out and by the time he looks back to the ball, the ball is already out of his reach. And happens usually on a fastbreak when you really have to be fast and think fast. During the fastbreak, instead of going after the ball, prepare and adjust for a better timing, he tends to look for his guy first and by the time he aims for the ball it'll be too late. Im not saying he shouldn't box out but its a matter of feeling where your opponent is and position yourself for a better angle to either block a shot or a box out. I think he needs to learn how to feel the game. When you're running plays, he dont always have to follow it esp. when you dont even see your teammate. Sometimes he needs to adjust and gamble a little bit esp. when its not a cruxial situation.
I dont know if its the coaches fault. Maybe he needs a better mentor because im only seeing one phase of his game that's progressing and its his offense and when he has the ball in his hands, the decision making is better, he rarely force his shots now and passes the ball better when double teamed.
Sorry for being so negative about him but maybe because i expect a lot from him esp. when we all know that he's gonna be one of our future cores to this team. I want him to do better and i get angry when a rookie 2nd rounder outplays him in front of millions of people watching the game. When you are long, wide, quick 7 footer with good hands and great touch, you can do a lot. You're opponents will give you attention and that alone will cause enough damage already.

I for one think his basketball IQ is phenomenal and that the fact that he boxes out his man before going for a rebound is a good thing...
