Good Sasha Article from OC Reg

Vujacic can help Lakers here ... or there

EL SEGUNDO – The first practice after the All-Star break had ended Monday afternoon, and Sasha Vujacic started shooting.
And shooting and shooting and shooting.
Ron Artest sat on the basket standard where Vujacic was shooting and waited for Vujacic to finish. Artest wanted to get his extra shooting in – with the rebounding assistance of the Lakers’ locker-room attendant, who was busy rebounding for Vujacic.
So Artest watched Vujacic for awhile. Then Artest sat there and stared into space. Artest began studying the tape on his fingers. Eventually, Artest just muttered to himself, “C’mon, Sasha.”

---
(I liked this part.)

Part of that is Vujacic not performing well enough, but part of that is the Lakers needing to find out what they have in Shannon Brown. The Lakers have gone so far as to bust up their triangle and run simpler stuff to help Brown – which Vujacic has noticed.

At least he's a competitor. I'm pretty damn sure most of it is his mentality, he has the shot, he just needs to get his head in the game and not doubt himself. Celtics certainly did a number on him.

Of course he loves the Lakers and LA and wants to stay... who the F wouldn't. I was a big Sasha supporter for a long time, longer then most on these boards because of his hustle, heart, and work ethic. But there comes a point in time when you just have to say enough, how many chances does the guy need? How many times does he need to come into a game and brick open shots, rush shots, pick up really **** fouls and then head to the bench about to cry. If he can't get his head right by now it isn't the Lakers responsibility to wait for it. Just get rid of him already.

Why exactly would his struggles surprise anyone? He did absolutely nothing for his entire NBA career up until the contract year. Then he played incredibly well that one year and disappeared ever since. We have seen something like this for.........6 million times already. Its time for everyone to accept the fact that he was a contract year wonder and we made a mistake by resigning him instead of Turiaf.

The only article about Sasha that I'm interested in reading is one that has him being traded to another team.
