I think nothing is going to happen now. Amare is going to stay. Suns will play it out and will look at extending him again, and or look at a S&T, draft day trade or let him walk.

Okay, way I understand what is going on now is the Suns decided not to do any trades and probably will go back to negotiating an extension.

Apparently what happened was the Cavs gave the Suns a take it or leave it offer and since the Suns couldn't make up their minds, the Cavs didn't want a repeat of last year happening and pulled their offer and went a different way.

We will not get much in a S&T though, just to let you know. Someone in the other board has mention that Seattle Sonic essentially get nothing (a 2nd round pick) for Lewis's S&T to Orlando. Because when the player has made up their mind about leaving the team....the team lost all the leverage...

if the Cavs were not offering Hickson - HOW can the Suns make that trade?

if the Heat are offering a bunch of crap - but barely gets them under the cap - who cares

only trade from the Heat that made sense was ONeal, Beasley and two number 1's for Amare and JRich

I bet they settle on 3 years. That is all Amare would get on the open markey with the CBA expiring.
