Red Sox, slightly IMO. I'd also be scared of SEA in a short series as well-Felix and Lee is a ridiculous duo.

i think we have the 2nd best in the league, red sox might be ahead by a hair, but factor in the O and we are far ahead

Re: Yanks 2010 Rotation OutLook
I think what helps us is the depth of our rotation. We go 5 deep with legitimate starters who can all have great outings on any given night (some less consistent than others which is why they're at the bottom of the rotation). Then in the bullpen, we will have Aceves who can give us spot starts, and Hughes or Joba who long-term are looked at starters (at least for now). And in AAA, McAllister will be knocking on the door for an opportunity should once open up.
Boston's rotation is very, very good as well. Although I'm not a big fan of either Matsuzaka or Buchholz, we all know that both of them have the potential to have very good seasons.

my question is...who will be mo's successor? and when will he be groomed?

I just got off the Phone with NAS. He said if you listen closely to the intro he not saying **** Jayz. He knew one day a cat name Joey would play himself on realgm. Ether was meant to be used in the future.

Mo is going to be here this year, and probably sign another 2 year extension I would think, so no need to worry about that anytime soon.

Re: Yanks 2010 Rotation OutLook
One year deals from here on out with Rivera seems likely. I would love to see the Yankees get a perpetual team option at $10M-$12M on Rivera, similar to what Boston has with Wakefield.
Replacing Rivera is impossible regardless of who is one day given that assignment. But closers are made more than they're born and frequently come from nowhere. Ryan Franklin's 2009 is proof of that.
Between Joba and Hughes, I feel their mental makeup and secondary pitches leads the former to be a reliever and the latter a starter.

Both Hughes n Joba should just come of the pen
-I think Joba could be a better closer compared to Hughes
-Hughes would be a great setup tho

The New York Yankees, where we develop #1 pitching prospects and make them relievers if they don't have 2.00 ERAs in their first full seasons. Come on now.

Re: Yanks 2010 Rotation OutLook
It would be nice to see if the Yankees can snatch up Cliff Lee next offseason. Hughes seems to have better stuff than Joba but I'm not sold on either as starters.
