How about I give my gold Hammer to Rich4114 next time we win (when ever the hell that will be!) then I'll come down to Philly, help you fix that newly formed hole in your world and we'll call it quits.

Deal?

woah woah woah, I do NOT live in Philthadelphia. I'm like an hour north. But deal! Of course I may have a few more holes by then.

I didn't say DJ was the reason we lost. I said DJ was pathetic because this is the guy we took after we made a verbal promise to Brook Lopez, who was the best player on the floor. And yes, Dooling looked so much better than Augustin last night. If we could do a deal with the Nets, say, Boone and Dooling for DJ and filler, then I would pull the trigger.

If you said list the 5 best players on the floor, and you hadn't watched a game this season, you would say 1. Lopez 2. Harris 3. Lee 4. Diaw 5. Boone - Boone had more of an impact than Wallace.

You also said that Jax & Boris wasn't the reason we lost...yet they shot 2 of 14 from 3...and a lot of those misses from Boris was in the 4th when we were only down like 6-8.

Wonder who LB was talking about when he mentioned "ball stoppers" and added that Crash should be getting more shots?

I appreciate that Boris was "compassionate" for this game...but unless his actual play on the court contributes to the team winning then he could just as easily cheer from the sidelines. I didn't see that so much in this game.

Same goes with Jax.

I'm with you on this, I just didn't see it from either of them. They couldn't knock down shots for crap and made a ton of untimely errors at critical points in the game. I'm still so freaking pissed over this loss and now we have to play the Cavs Friday. Our first 2-game home losing streak partly because of the Nets.

They didn't knock down shots true but they at least appeared to try. They were also still working on the defensive end. Jax said after the game that he didn't understand why the team was so upset becuase it was just one loss - that is disheartening. We don't need a losers mentality if we are trying to make the playoffs. It really felt to me that Wallace didn't give a damn during that game.

The 3's from Boris in the 4th... The Cats were either turning the ball over or getting blocked at the rim or Diop was taking 20 footers. I'll take those shots over not getting any shots at all. There was very little rotation on the perimiter....Wallace and Jax and (insert center here) were just standing around...what else would you have done?

Who was covering the screen guy when we went small? I honestly don't remember.

Remember last time we played the Bulls and Rose was using that high screen with Noah to consistently get into the paint? We switched with Crash being the screen defender and solved the problem. I don't think we used Crash like that vs Harris the other night.

IMO TC on two or three occasions covered it perfectly...left his guy and stayed in front of Harris (not like Harris was actually going to pass it to the screener...don't think he ever did) and made his shot very difficult.

Either way, we allowed them to shoot 52% for the game. Until we can fix the team defense we're going to continue to struggle. This team succeeds/fails as a group.

I thought Crash had a very good 2nd half BTW.
