Ray hasn't been playing that well (and there are rumors the Celtics would move him), this would be an upgrade to the Celtics. Depending on your point of view of Perkins vs Nene. Bulls want to dump TT and moving Salmons frees up money for 2010. Although I'd imagine they would want some sort of draft picks back.

You mean, they are telling him he'd be resigned.

Most of the players you mentioned in that trade are rumored to be on the block.....except for the two you have the nuggets shipping off. The nuggets have said time and time again they won't break up their core.

Of course that is what they have said. Nuggets are one of the organizations that don't usually leak or talk about trades.

If this happens, the NBA might adopt a rule against this and that rule would be named the AC rule.

This has been a trend for the last few seasons, but after AC, Stern will say, "I'm stopping this".

When's the last time the Nuggets didn't make a trade during the season...it's been awhile.

Here is another idea:

Allen and 3 million for Crittenton.

With the understanding the million is to help buyout Mike Miller and Miller signs with Denver.

Very unlikely, I know. But it could get the Wizards under the luxury tax.

Get Big Ben from the pistons, he could provide an in depth interior to the back court, and get a lot of rebounds I get him by tradinbg petro and a 1st round pick, which would be good for detroit because that increases their chances of geting a high draft pick. Two of them. Plus it help the nugs because Chauncy and wallace won a championship together back in '04 so the chemistry would work. Also the pistons might agree due to them helping us with trades and draft picks in the past. I.E Iverson/ choosing darko milic over melo, etc

Yeah. Nothing's happening. Not a surprise, really. Just didn't have any ammo to get something done.

No good chess play, no big bertha, and nothing caught while fishing. FO failed with their metaphors this year.

I've always thought our best bet was to wait for a quality big man to get bought out and make a play to sign him. We'll now have that opportunity with Big Z.

Most likely he'll go back to Cleveland, despite not being able to get any minutes. But i'd say we have as good a shot as any other team. Would be an amazing pickup, considering his size and shooting ability. Almost exactly what we need right now.

God, it would be a shock for Z to do anything but go back to the Cavs. I just can't see it. Is Gooden staying with the Clippers now, or are they buying him out?

I so badly want this team to get DeAndre Jordan. He'll be the best post defender in a few years.

Drew Gooden is getting bought out. We should be interested. He could fill in if we suffer any injuries, play power forward or center and can actually contribute. He seems like one of the few good options we actually have.

Would love to get one of Z or Gooden if bought out... but I doubt we would have any hope of getting either.

Z would be an excellent fit offensively and for rebounds. If we can adjust our defence and not switch all the time and especially help him when other teams run the PnR then it would be perfect.

Gooden would also somewhat be ok (a lot better than Allen) and would score in bunches for us... but he's an atrocious defender.

Z couldnt run with us. Hes one of the main reasons I think the Nugs beat up on the Cavs so bad normally.

I'd go for Z if he's bought out, because with his size he can rebound much better than Allen or Petro, while having that same J that Allen has.

I am pretty sure FO is aiming to snatch a decent piece in 2010 free agency. CB is 33 now he should have another good year next season as well as this one. We just need to cut all the dead meat next year and go out and spend some serious cash while CB is playing at high level.

I pray that he will have impact like Nash at his age!
