Combining some of the rumors floating around what do you guys think of this?

Memphis/Rockets/Nets

Memphis gets: Sergio/CDR
Nets get: Memphis 1st (can fall any where from 12-18) depending on if they make the playoffs
Rockets get: Dallas 1st.

Why?
Memphis gets 2 guys for their bench
Nets get to move up in the draft at the expence of CDR
Rockets don't need Sergio with Brooks and Lowery on the roster so they swap him out for a late 1st.

I'm not sure if sergio can be moved though so that might throw the whole deal. He is being moved by himself and not in a package which I know can't be done.

Thoughts and clarification please

I'd do it. I do question Mephis' willingness to deal what is still a potential lottery pick for bench depth.

My guess is that Battie and Trenton Hassell will be bought out within a week. Simmons, I honestly think will ride the bench for the rest of the season unless there is a 3rd guy in the D-League we want an up close look at against NBA level competition.

Simmons looks genuinely happy on the bench so for as much as I've hated on him in the past at least he's riding the pine with class :lol:

I think it's only fair to let Hassell go as well since he's been a warrior and as for Battie... Dude sucks please get him away from NJ.

I agree. Simmons, while utterly worthless, has been a class act. So why not give him the opportunity to play somehwere.

Hassell could help a contending team since he's a good locker room guy and a good defender who could hit the mid range shot.

Battie... meh.

What's really pathetic was losing to a Wade-less Heat.

I was hoping we would have grabbed another late pick for CDR, but no luck. Meh.
