Pacers vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Miller4ever » Wed Feb 17, 2010 10:49 pm

With all of the trades and such, it's tough to remember that we are a basketball team that has games to play. The Spurs visit, starting what looks to be a daunting new few games.

Good early start.
Also given Murphy is playing suggests there is no trade in the works.

^^Players play up until the moment they are traded. It also helps his value.

Interesting for Duncan to be 3/15 and only a half has gone by. He's tried so many and missed so many shots.

I was coming more from the angle of that the chance of injury adds to the risk of a team walking away from a trade.

on the flip side Murph is certainly adding value. Almost double double at the half

Tim Duncan shot 4-23 and we still lost because he managed to grab more than his share of misses with 26 boards. Spurs shot 35% and we still lost.

Duncan absolutely killed us on the glass. Once again we play the Spurs tough, just come up a little short.

I had pretty good seats for the game......hibberts block on duncan was staight up nasty. For whatever reason danny dogged it big-time last night pretty much just jogged around - i think he just realized he'll be playing another year with the murpfordleavy poo poo platter and was like screw it. Oh and on that note dunleavy looks ridiculously slow.

It's because, and I'm sorry fellas, Dunleavy is terrible. Plain and simple, why we put up w/ this guy for so long is beyond me.
