Should have extend Amare long time ago, now we lost all our leverage to Amare in regard to the contract extension....

By the time we could possibly be contenders again, Amare will be well over 30, Nash/Hill will be long gone or on their last limb, so lets throw more money towards these guys so we can continue to fight for an 8th seed year after year in the meantime until we admit we need to rebuild....wtf is going on here!

I just mean, if they extend Amare, it won't be a total failure.

Not a total failure, just a bandaid on a team that needs to start from scratch

Oh wow I quoted the wrong person I think. Yeah, if we extend him than things are looking somewhat okay(even though this team as presently constructed isn't going anywhere).

Where do we go from here? Play 1 and done until J-Rich, Hill and Frye come off the books in 2011?

I feel sorry for Amare if hes stuck spending the prime of his career in the vast black hole that is the Phoenix Suns. Looks like I gotta pray the Magic can win it this year.

Yup, if Riley wants to get greedy and risk their whole 2010 plan, keep your new franchise player, Beasley, and keep diggin your grave you old bastard. He must really be losing it.

I knew eventually that hair oil would seep through the skull and affect his brain

Maybe Riley was trying to see if there was anything else he could do where he didnt have to give up Beasley but will cave in now and deal him for Amare. God I hope so, might be giving that old crow too much credit though.

If we are gonna be mediorcre, we might as well trade Nash and Hill next year for draft picks, tank our season for a few seasons, and rebuild with lottery picks. Seems to be the only way we are gonna get outta this mess.

That Knicks/Rockets/Kings 3-way trade that just happened is ridiculous, 8 player trade.

If he walks we'll have a top 10 pick next year so maybe that's Kerr's plan.
