Congrats on NY making the trade look good now

Rockets get Hill, Martin, Jeffries and rights to swap picks with NY for Landry, McGrady, Dorsey
Andrei should use his once a year "allowance" to bang Cheryl Miller, thus creating the perfect basketball player.

Per Marc Stein:

- Knicks get Tracy McGrady and Sergio Rodriguez.
- Kings get Carl Landry, Joey Dorsey and Larry Hughes' expiring contract.
- Houston gets Kevin Martin, Jared Jeffries, right to swap first-round picks with NYK in 2011 and New York's first-rounder in 2012.

HOUSTON WINS!!!

IMO all the teams win in this trade. Sac wanted Landry and some expiring(s). We got a steal for a player we're not using. NY clears up a lot of cap room. NY is taking a huge gamble. If lebron and bosh don't go to NY, they are going to be crappy for a long time. Which is good for us.....muahahahah. I guess no one knows if the swap or 2012 pick is protected in any way?

Are you complaining?

We get the best player in the deal who fills the biggest position of need for Houston. Jordan Hill a replacement PF off the bench under contract for next 3 seasons. Who also played at Arizona with Budinger AND two first round picks from NY?

LOVE it maann!!!!

I'll miss Landry for sure, but that was an overall upgrade for Houston. Both on the court and as far as acquring assets for future trade.

Hill's size and length will help. I dont' think anyone liked the deal with the Knicks with him being the center piece. I don't think anyone liked the deal with the Kings with Martin who is injury prone being the center piece. But put em together and add draft picks and Morey is back to legendary status around these parts.

The Rockets are going to remain competitive AND have attained the tools to gear up for the future. Killing two birds with one stone. The man is truly a genius.

Enough with the damn complaints!!!

I see big things with Jordan hill. People are doubting him but i think he'll do alright with the Rockets. The guy might improve alot, he has the potential. He's extremely athletic, bball iq is still low, but that can improve with the Great rockets coaching staff. He's a real quick player and isnt afraid of contact. I don't think the knicks gave him adequate time to show his skills.

This is a fair trade. I think all teams get what they want and need. But I like the pieces we get from the trade even more.

t-mac problem is his health
then we traded him for another player with health problem
hurray
i have no idea what the upside for jordan hill
people just get excited when they are getting new players
losing landry is huge
only reason i like this deal is that we suck more now
and we can say bye bye to 2010 playoff and hope we land a pick somewhere in the top 3

Things are simple. As a young guy, Jordan hill is NOT gonna find any better coach than Rick adelmen.
K-mart got back to a system that he is familiar with all the time, so he should play better.
-----------

Morey's DEVIL plan is to send Tmac to Knicks. TMAC is gonna be hungry for the new contract. I bet he will lead Knicks to playoff which would be totally screwed Jazz.

lol you might be right. But i'll hold my judgement until i see him play in a rockets uniform. A stromile swift in his prime, when he was in the grizzlies was a decent player. Not when he came to us though. But Hill is still a rookie that never was given adequate playing time. People who call him a bust from the get go, will probably eat their words in the end.
