I'm happy for him but I really don't care about him leaving this team.

Man it did suck seeing him drive away in that car tonight. Good luck to you in Cleveland Jamison. I hope you lose in a valiant effort to the Mavs in the Finals.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to put it into perspective now. The team was pretty hard to watch there with not a lot of tangible advantage being gained in recent months from wins.
And of course Jamison's heading to the Cavs, so even to wish him the fulfillment of his championship dreams is a bit tough.
But, well....
I like the Captain as an individual player quite a bit more than the critics here, so yeah, I have to wish him well and say thanks for all the play.
I think the best he ever did was the series where he was the long soldier against the Cavs for four games with no kinds of help, and they still couldn't stop him. That was really taking it to 'em, and really seperate's him from a lot of second option guys playing off someone else.
And even this year we just rode him WAAAAYY too hard when he was off to a nice solid PER of 21 through January.
Anyway, tough dude and I'll always remember the myriad ways he had to tickle the twine.
Despite it being the Cavs, I am real glad he's able to go after a chip like he's always wanted.

a class act and one hell of a player. If Capitawn can find some way to be involved here again some day I'd love to see it. GOOD LUCK!

It would be great to have him and Haywood come back for vet minimum deals to a contending Wizards team at the end of their contracts.

I'm not sad to see Antawn go....he has been kind of rubbing me the wrong way this entire season. He is not a bad guy, but I also dont think he is mr. perfect.
Have fun in

I frequently spend the holidays in Cleveland, and I'll tell you one thing: they sure know how to clear snow. I actually like that city, but it's a little cold in the winter.

Fare Thee Well Antawn Jamison.
You are a pro's pro, and a class act.
Thanks for always giving it your best.
I always found it hard to be critical of him, even when his defense was poor, or his long range jumper was poor, because he always gave it his all. His junk/flip shots are amazing to watch, his rebounding was consistent and often really timely. Good hustle guy. Even his defense seemed to improve slightly over the past 2 years.
He never shied away from carrying the load when nobody else would.
Enjoy him Cleveland, you got a gem of an asset to help your team push thru this year.
I'll quietly still root for AJ to play well. . .hard to root for the Cav's tho.

As much as I revile LBJ, I will root for the Cavs if they make the finals. Antawn was an absolute warrior for this team, and for all of the things you can fault with him for, being a great representative for the team and the city, as well as busting his ass EVERY NIGHT you certainly cannot.
Good luck, 'tawn.
Good luck, 'tawn.

I will root for Jamison, but not the Cavs. I hope Jamison scores 30 points on 15 of 15 shooting, and the Cavs lose all their games 100-30.

Jamison's D should help that prediction.
Sorry, I know were supposed to be positive here.

With 15 offensive rebounds(from Lebron bricking).

I don't mean to be mean, but gawd I hope not. We get WAY too much LaQueen
fawning as it is. AJ is a solid player offensively and on the glass. But his defense
is just gawd-awful. If you're lucky Brown will have the good sense to make sure
he doesn't see the court at crunch time when you need a stop. But I'm kinda
hoping he does.

Thanks for being the 1 guy... who we could depend on to give a quality effort and performance game in and game out. Not a superstar - but tremendous durability, tremendous consistency, and a real pro.
except when we needed a crucial defensive play

I respect AJ but I can't root for him in a Cavaliers uniform.
Sorry AJ
