Word that Ronnie Brewer might have gotten traded. Again, trying to get confirmation.

Move would make a lot of sense in that the Jazz ease luxury-tax burden and ease logjam of wing players.

heard the Grizzlies are getting a deal done for Ronnie Brewer - for a protected pick. all they are giving up. if it happens- woooohooo.

Its another salary dump....yet we were repeatedly told after the Maynor move that they would be making basketball moves. Well if theyre only getting a protected pick, this is a bad basketball move.

I think I'd be ok with trading Brewer for a first-rounder -- but it depends on the protection. Hopefully it's just top-ten protected this next year.

salary dump but get #1 and we had alot of wings already. I would have preferred trading CJ but they wanted Brewer. Makes sense and allows more time for our other wings. Probably means CJ starting now.

I like Brewer but he can't hit a jump-shot to save his life. Hopefully Miles can start to be more consistent if he becomes the starter.

I'm really okay with this. I don't think it's going to hurt the team this year -- could actually help. Jazz apparently weren't going to re-sign Brewer, so at least they got something for him.

Does Wesley Matthews start now?
